Fr: L'excitation bourdonnait dans l'air du petit café situé sur la rue principale.
En: Excitement buzzed in the air of the small café on the main street.

Fr: C'était un après-midi chaud et ordinaire.
En: It was a hot and ordinary afternoon.

Fr: Mais pour Jean-Pierre et Amélie, c'était un jour spécial.

Fr: Jean-Pierre, avec ses cheveux grisonnants et ses yeux intelligents, essayait de maîtriser son excitation nerveuse.
