Story Transcript:

Hu: A nap lazán lógott a Duna felett, a Budapesti szívek között, mint egy nagy piros lufi. A turisták forgatagában, az Erzsébet hídon testesítette István és Eszter karjai között összefonódva az idilli romantikát.
En: A nap lazily hung over the Danube, among the hearts of Budapest, like a big red balloon. In the chaos of tourists, on the Elizabeth Bridge, István and Eszter embodied the idyllic romance, their arms intertwined.

Hu: Na jó, majdnem romantikát.
En: Well, almost romance.

Hu: "Eljött az idő, Eszter." István tekintetét cserébe vette a kezében tartott papírfecniért amelyre nehéz magyar szavakat írtak.
En: "The time has come, Eszter," István said, exchanging his gaze for the scrap of paper he held in his hand, on which difficult Hungarian words were written.

Hu: Eszter rásimított István halványszőke hajára. "Akarsz nevetni? Srác, senki sem tudom tényleg elmondani azt a szót, amit ki akarsz ejteni." Eddig Eszternek semmi szavának súlya nem volt. Most azonban volt. Egy pillanatra nézte, aztán a Szabadság híd irányába arccal fordult.
En: Eszter stroked István's pale blonde hair. "Do you want to laugh? Dude, no one really knows how to pronounce that word you want to say." Until now, Eszter's words had never carried any weight. But now they did. She stared at him for a moment, then turned her face towards the direction of the Liberty Bridge.

Hu: "A „megszentségteleníthetetlenségeskedéseitekért újra” szó kiejtése." Eszter szemei megakadtak a hídon, a torony óráján. "István, ez nem lehet ekkora probléma."
En: "The pronunciation of the word 'for your irreverence again'," Eszter's eyes fixed on the clock tower on the bridge. "István, this can't be such a big problem."

Hu: Béla, aki történetesen éppen az útelágazásnál állt, teli torokból felnevetett. "Azt hiszem, hogy ez a legjobb napi humor, amit valaha is hallottam. Nem tudom, hogy sikerül-e valaha is elmondani azt a szót."
En: Béla, who happened to be standing at the intersection, burst into laughter. "I think this is the best daily humor I've ever heard. I don't know if anyone will ever be able to say that word."

Hu: Nem voltam hajlandó elengedni a kezét. "Próbáljuk ki." Mondta István, egy csendes pillanatot hagyva, mielőtt maga is nevetésbe tört ki.
En: I wasn't willing to let go of his hand. "Let's give it a try," István said, pausing for a quiet moment before bursting into laughter himself.

Hu: Eszter is széles vigyorgásba kezdett. „István, egyszerűen csak viccesek vagyunk."
En: Eszter started to grin widely. "István, we're just funny."

Hu: Eszter már nem volt képes tartózkodni a nevetéstől. Béla csatlakozott hozzá, úgyhogy ez az egész vicc volt. De amit István tudott, az az volt, hogy nem számít, hány szó van a magyar nyelvben. Azt tudta, hogy szereti Esztert. Hogy szeretettel néz Béla naivitására. Hogy szereti Budapestet, a Napot, a hidat.
En: Eszter couldn't hold back her laughter anymore. Béla joined her, so it became a joke. But what István knew was that it didn't matter how many words there were in the Hungarian language. He knew he loved Eszter. That he looked at Béla's naivety with affection. That he loved Budapest, the sun, the bridge.

Hu: Béla végül is elismerte: “Te és Eszter vagytok a legjobb történet, amelyet valaha is láttam."
En: Finally, Béla acknowledged, "You and Eszter are the best story I've ever seen."
