The Parrot's Pirouette: A Joyful Day at the Park

Story Transcript:
Ca: Marc havia decidit portar el seu lloro, Pipo, al parc aquell dia perquè pensava que seria divertit.
En: Marc had decided to take his parrot, Pipo, to the park that day because he thought it would be fun.

Ca: El sol brillava i hi havia una brisa lleugera que feia moure les fulles dels arbres.
En: The sun was shining and there was a light breeze that moved the leaves of the trees.

Ca: Marc estava emocionat per passar una estona relaxant amb la seva mascota.
En: Marc was excited to spend some relaxing time with his pet.

Ca: Tan aviat com van arribar al parc, Pipo va començar a parlar.
En: As soon as they got to the park, Pipo started talking.

Ca: No era res estrany, ja que el lloro de Marc era molt parlatàs i li encantava dir tot el que li passava pel cap.
En: It was nothing strange, as Marc's parrot was very talkative and loved to say whatever was on his mind.

Ca: El que resultava estrany era que Pipo començava a repetir tot el que Marc deia, com si fes un eco.
En: What was strange was that Pipo started repeating everything Marc said, as if echoing.

Ca: "És un dia tan bonic", deia Marc.
En: "It's such a beautiful day," said Marc.

Ca: "És un dia tan bonic", repetia Pipo.
En: "It's such a beautiful day," repeated Pipo.

Ca: Marc va riure, pensant que el seu lloro estava fent una broma.
En: Marc laughed, thinking his parrot was joking.

Ca: Però quan van començar a caminar pel parc, Pipo continuava repetint tot el que deia el seu propietari.
En: But when they started walking through the park, Pipo kept repeating everything his owner said.

Ca: Ràpidament, altres persones que caminaven pel parc van adonar-se dels fets i van començar a rere's del lloro que parlava.
En: Soon, other people walking in the park noticed what had happened and started chasing the talking parrot.

Ca: Marc va sentir-se incòmode i va intentar que Pipo deixés de repetir les seves paraules, sense èxit.
En: Marc felt uncomfortable and tried to get Pipo to stop repeating his words, to no avail.

Ca: Finalment, Marc i Pipo van arribar a una àrea del parc on hi havia una font.
En: Finally, Marc and Pipo arrived at an area of the park where there was a fountain.

Ca: Marc va decidir asseure's al costat de la font i veure el món passar durant una estona.
En: Marc decided to sit by the fountain and watch the world go by for a while.

Ca: També va decidir intentar ensenyar-li algun truc a Pipo per distraure'l i que deixés de repetir les seves paraules.
En: He also decided to try to teach Pipo some tricks to distract him so that he would stop repeating his words.

Ca: Després de molts intents, Pipo va aprendre a fer una pirueta en l'aire.
En: After many attempts, Pipo learned to do a pirouette in the air.

Ca: Era una vista impressionant que va atreure l'atenció de les persones que caminaven pel parc.
En: It was an impressive sight that attracted the attention of people walking through the park.

Ca: Marc va sentir-se orgullós del seu lloro i va deixar de preocupar-se perquè Pipo repetia les seves paraules.
En: Marc felt proud of his parrot and stopped worrying about Pipo repeating his words.

Ca: Quan va ser hora de tornar a casa, Marc i Pipo van caminar cap a la sortida del parc.
En: When it was time to go home, Marc and Pipo walked towards the exit of the park.

Ca: Pipo encara parlava, però ja no repetia les paraules de Marc.
En: Pipo was still talking, but he was no longer repeating Marc's words.

Ca: De fet, parlava sobre les coses que havia après durant el dia al parc, com ara la pirueta que havia ensenyat el seu propietari.
En: In fact, he was talking about the things he had learned during the day at the park, such as the pirouette his owner had taught him.

Ca: Marc es va sentir molt content de veure que el seu lloro estava aprenent coses noves i havia gaudit del seu dia al parc.
En: Marc was very happy to see that his parrot was learning new things and had enjoyed his day at the park.

Ca: Va entrar a casa amb el cor plè de joia i una sensació de satisfacció per haver passat una tarda meravellosa amb la seva mascota.
