Pl: Pewnego dnia, z daleka, zaproszono Marka na wesele. Nie było to byle jakie wesele, ale tradycyjne polskie wesele. Wesele organzowane przez jego cioteczną siostrę, Iwonę. Było to ogromne wydarzenie, bo przybyć miało aż dwieście osób, a sama ceremonia miała odbyć się w niewielkiej, malowniczej wiosce w środkowej Polsce, zwanej Kielcami.
En: One day, from afar, Marek was invited to a wedding. It wasn't just any wedding, but a traditional Polish wedding. The wedding was organized by his cousin, Iwona. It was a grand event, with two hundred guests expected to attend, and the ceremony was to take place in a small, picturesque village in central Poland called Kielce.

Pl: Marek, jako bardzo dbający o bliskich człowiek, zdecydował się pomóc organizatorom. Pomagał w przygotowaniach, od załatwiania kwiatów, po obsługę muzyki. Przybył na miejsce dnia poprzedniego, aby upewnić się, że wszystko będzie idealne.
En: Marek, being someone who cared deeply for his loved ones, decided to help the organizers. He assisted with the preparations, from arranging the flowers to managing the music. He arrived at the location the day before to ensure that everything would be perfect.

Pl: Następny dzień to był dzień wesela. Wszystko szło jak po maśle. Ceremonia była piękna, a potem nadszedł czas na przyjęcie weselne. Marek był zmęczony, ale zadowolony z siebie. Weselne "chore", jak przystało na tradycyjne polskie wesele, było pełne pyszności: kiełbasy, galarety, ciasta na deser i oczywiście mnóstwo pierogów.
En: The next day was the wedding day. Everything went smoothly. The ceremony was beautiful, and then it was time for the wedding reception. Marek was tired but satisfied with himself. The wedding feast, as befitting a traditional Polish wedding, was full of deliciousness: sausages, jellies, dessert pastries, and of course, plenty of pierogi.

Pl: Właśnie z nimi miał związek incydent. Marek, chętny do pomocy i mający dużo energii, zaoferował się, aby podać pierogi gościom. Chwycił tacę pełną tych niewielkich, poduszkowatych smakołyków i ruszył przez tłum weselników.
En: It was precisely with the pierogi that an incident occurred. Marek, eager to help and overflowing with energy, offered to serve the pierogi to the guests. He grabbed a tray full of these small, pillowy delicacies and maneuvered through the crowd of wedding revelers.

Pl: Tutaj zaczęły dziać się rzeczy. Marek nie zauważył jednego z gości, który postanowił zainicjować taniec, teraz znanego jako „niespodziewany tango”. Zszedł na parkiet i... bum! Marek potknął się i... wszystkie pierogi poleciały w powietrze, a następnie rozsypany został cały parkiet. Marcowy upadek z hukiem przyciągnął uwagę wszystkich gości weselnych.
En: That's when things started to happen. Marek didn't notice one of the guests who decided to initiate a dance now known as the "unexpected tango." He stepped onto the dance floor and... bam! Marek stumbled and... all the pierogi went flying into the air, followed by the entire dance floor being scattered. The March fall with a crash caught the attention of all the wedding guests.

Pl: Na szczęście, Marek był młodym, sprytnym mężczyzną. Wstał, uśmiechnął się i powiedział: „Cóż, kto zgubił, ten nie tańcuje!”. Wszyscy zaczęli się śmiać i atmosfera napięcia szybko ustąpiła miejsca zabawie.
En: Fortunately, Marek was a young, clever man. He stood up, smiled, and said, "Well, whoever loses doesn't dance!" Everyone began to laugh, and the tense atmosphere quickly gave way to amusement.

Pl: Później Markowi pomogli w uprzątnięciu parkietu, a potem kontynuowali zabawę. W rzeczywistości, Marcowe faux pas stało się punktem kulminacyjnym wieczornego zabijaka – bo jak to mówią, nie ma polskiego wesela bez pierogów na parkiecie.
En: Later, Marek received help in cleaning up the dance floor, and then the festivities continued. In fact, Marek's faux pas became the highlight of the evening – because, as they say, there is no Polish wedding without pierogi on the dance floor.

Pl: Dzień po weselu Marek został bohaterem rodzinnym, a opowieść o rozsypaniu pierogów na środku parkietu stała się legendą, którą opowie się na kolejnych weselach. A Marek? On dowiedział się, że nawet, gdy coś pójdzie nie tak, możemy przekuć to na naszą korzyść.
En: The day after the wedding, Marek became a family hero, and the tale of the scattered pierogi in the middle of the dance floor became a legend that would be told at future weddings. And Marek? He learned that even when something goes wrong, we can turn it to our advantage.
