Story Transcript:

Hu: Balázs már majdnem elkésett a metróra.
En: Balázs was almost late for the subway.

Hu: Futva próbált eljutni az állomásra, de lassúbb volt, mint amit szeretett volna.
En: He tried to run to the station, but it was slower than he would have liked.

Hu: Összeszorult a szíve, ahogy látta, hogy a vonat már a peronon áll.
En: His heart sank as he saw that the train was already at the platform.

Hu: Az utolsó pillanatban azonban kioldódott a cipőfűzője, és megbotlott.
En: However, at the last moment, his shoelace came untied and he tripped.

Hu: Elesett és a kezében lévő pizzaszelet elrepült.
En: He fell and the slice of pizza in his hand flew away.

Hu: A galambok mintha csak erre az alkalomra vártak volna.
En: The pigeons seemed to have been waiting for this opportunity.

Hu: Azonnal odacibáltak és elkezdték csipegetni a pizzát.
En: They immediately hopped over and started nibbling on the pizza.

Hu: Balázs próbált felkelni, de mocorgásával csak még több madarat vonzott maga köré.
En: Balázs tried to get up, but his squirming only attracted more birds around him.

Hu: A szemközti bolti eladók megdöbbentek, amikor látták, mi történt.
En: The shop assistants across the street were shocked when they saw what had happened.

Hu: Kijöttek és segítségére siettek.
En: They came out and rushed to his aid.

Hu: Felállították, megtisztogatták a kezét és a ruháját is.
En: They stood him up and cleaned his hands and clothes.

Hu: Összeszedte a maradék pizzaszeleteket, és köszönetet mondott az eladóknak.
En: He collected the remaining pizza slices and thanked the vendors.

En: In the end, he managed to get to the subway, but the incident remained in his memory for a long time.
