Story Transcript:

Hi: मुंबई की खिड़कियों को कहरसान बारिश धड़ाधड़ बौछार कर रही थी। राहुल को लगा, ग़हरी ग्रे दोपहरी का टटोलने का समय आ गया है। जोरदार बारिश से बिना छाते के, उम्मीद विहीन, वह पड़ा था।
En: The windows of Mumbai were being battered by a merciless downpour. Rahul thought to himself, "The time has come to brave the heavy grey afternoon." Without an umbrella to shield himself from the torrential rain, he was left hopeless and stranded.

Hi: "हे भगवान, अब क्या करूँ?" उसके मन में विचार आया। तभी, जैसे ही वह अपना सिर उठाया, उसने देखा एक इंद्रधनुषी रंग की छतरी वाली लड़की। वह प्रिया थी, उसकी पुरानी दोस्त।
En: "Oh God, what do I do now?" he pondered. Just then, as he lifted his head, he saw a girl with a rainbow-colored umbrella. It was Priya, his old friend.

Hi: "राहुल! तुम खड़े ही खड़े हो जाओगे, या मेरी छतरी पकड़ोगे?" प्रिया ने हँसते हुए कहा। वह अपनी छतरी उसे दे गई, जिससे उसकी बारिश से तरह-तरह होती हुई जीन्स और टी-शर्ट को छड़ने का आश्वासन मिल गया।
En: "Rahul! Will you just stand there, or will you grab hold of my umbrella?" Priya said with a smile. She handed him her umbrella, assuring him that it would protect his drenched jeans and t-shirt from the rain.

Hi: राहुल ने इंद्रधनुषी छतरी उठाई और आगे बढ़े। जैसे ही वह सड़क पार करने लगा, लोग उसे ध्यान से देखने लगे। कुछ हँस रहे थे, कुछ अजीब अजीब नज़रें दे रहे थे, लेकिन वह बिल्कुल चिंतित नहीं था।
En: Rahul lifted the rainbow umbrella and carried on. As he began to cross the street, people started to notice him. Some laughed, while others gave him strange looks, but he remained undeterred.

Hi: रास्ते में दोस्तों ने उसका मज़ाक उड़ाया, और काफी मज़ाकीया तीका टिप्पणियां भी की। चाय की दुकान पे "रंगीन मिजाज" और "बारिश का राजकुमार" के बीन, राहुल मुस्कराता ही रहा।
En: Along the way, his friends teased him and made playful comments. At the colorful tea stall, amidst banners that read "Colorful Moods" and "Prince of Rain," Rahul couldn't help but smile.

Hi: जब वह उन सबके पास से होता, वह हँसता था और कहता, "हाँ, हाँ, यही है बारिश का मज़ा".
En: Whenever he passed by them, he would chuckle and say, "Yes, yes, this is the joy of the rain."

Hi: अगले दिन, राहुल ने इंद्रधनुषी छतरी प्रिया को लौटा दी। "आपकी छतरी ने मेरे लिए एक मज़ेदार महसूस की शुरुआत की, प्रिया। धन्यवाद।" वह मुस्करा दिया।
En: The next day, Rahul returned the rainbow umbrella to Priya. "Your umbrella brought me a delightful start, Priya. Thank you," he smiled.
