Story Transcript:

Hu: A Budai Vár felé vezető sikátorban, épp a Halászbástya közelében, található egy családi kávézó, a Kávészünet.
En: In a narrow alley leading to the Buda Castle, near the Fisherman's Bastion, there is a family café called Kávészünet.

Hu: János, egy kedves, barátságos, szemüveges fiatalember itt szokott a délutánjait eltölteni.
En: János, a kind, friendly, bespectacled young man, likes to spend his afternoons here.

Hu: Imádta a finom kávét, a szívélyes kiszolgálást és különösen a csendes, békés pillanatokat, amikor a világ forgatagát maga mögött hagyva nézheti a dunai panorámát.
En: He loved the delicious coffee, the friendly service, and especially the quiet, peaceful moments when he could leave behind the hustle and bustle of the world and admire the view of the Danube.

Hu: Azon a bizonyos napon, János a szokásos kis asztalánál ült és a szokásos feksét rendelte.
En: On that particular day, János was sitting at his usual little table and ordered his usual espresso.

Hu: De ma volt valami különös a levegőben.
En: But there was something special in the air today.

Hu: Az ég a naplemente tüzével égett, a turisták hangja eltompulva jutott el a kávézóba, s a folyó kékje is valahogy mélyebbnek tűnt.
En: The sky was ablaze with the colors of the sunset, the voices of tourists reached the café muffled, and the blue of the river seemed somehow deeper.

Hu: János éppen a vár látványában merült el, amikor megérezte, hogy ideje a rendeléshez.
En: János was lost in contemplation of the castle when he sensed it was time to place his order.

Hu: Ahogy a pincérnő közeledett, János izgatottan várta a szokásos kávéját.
En: As the waitress approached, János eagerly awaited his usual coffee.

Hu: Már érezte szájában az ízeket, amelyek frissítő rajzolatot hagytak a nyelvén.
En: He could already taste the flavors in his mouth, leaving refreshing traces on his palate.

Hu: Ám a pincérnő, ahogy letette a tányért János elé, azt mondta: "Az Ön paprikásja, uram.
En: But as the waitress placed the plate in front of János, she said, "Your spicy dish, sir."

Hu: " János a tányért bámult, majd a pincérnőre nézett.
En: János stared at the plate, then looked at the waitress.

Hu: Csak a pulipaprikás következett, óvatosan, a kávé helyett.
En: Instead of coffee, he was served a Hungarian paprika dish, carefully prepared instead.

Hu: Mindkét szemöldökét megemelte a meglepetéstől.
En: Both of his eyebrows raised in surprise.

Hu: Egy pillanatig nagyon zavarban volt.
En: For a moment, he was very embarrassed.

Hu: Végül eldöntötte, hogy megkóstolja a paprikást.
En: Finally, he decided to taste the paprika dish.

Hu: Nem volt rossz.
En: It wasn't bad.

Hu: Sőt, olyan bensőséges ízeket fedezett fel benne, amit a kávé sosem kínált.
En: In fact, he discovered intimate flavors in it that coffee had never offered.

Hu: A meglepetésen túl egy új, ízgazdag élményt talált magának.

Hu: Mindketten nevettek a hibán, és János úgy döntött, hogy a jövőben gyakrabban rendel majd különféle ételeket.
En: They both laughed at the mistake, and János decided he would order a variety of dishes more often in the future.

Hu: Azon a napon János rájött, hogy még a legnagyobb meglepetésekben is találhatunk valami különlegeset.
En: On that day, János realized that even in the biggest surprises, we can find something special.

Hu: Már nem izgatta a rutin megtörése, inkább örömmel várta a következő kalandot a Kávészünetben.
En: He was no longer concerned about breaking the routine; instead, he looked forward to the next adventure at Kávészünet with joy.

Hu: Azóta is ott üldögél a kis asztalánál, mindig valami újat kipróbálva, sosem lehet tudni, milyen meglepetés vár rá a következő tányéron.
En: Since then, he has been sitting at his little table, always trying something new, never knowing what surprise awaits him on the next plate.
