Fr: L'horloge sur le mur indiquait huit heures du soir.
En: The clock on the wall showed eight o'clock in the evening.

Fr: Étienne était allongé sur son lit, regardant le plafond du dortoir de l'orphelinat.
En: Étienne was lying on his bed, staring at the dormitory ceiling of the orphanage.

Fr: La lumière du soleil couchant se faufilait à travers les rideaux, projetant des ombres dansantes sur les murs.
