Uk: Земля Карпат взимку схожа на білосніжну казку.
En: The land of the Karpaty in winter resembles a snowy fairytale.

Uk: Сніг ковдрою вкриває землю, а в повітрі витає спокій.
En: Snow blankets the ground, and a sense of calm fills the air.

Uk: На цьому затишному тлі розкинувся родинний хутір Олеcі, де вона жила з братом Дмитром та бабусею Надією.
En: Against this cozy backdrop lies the family homestead of Olesia, where she lived with her brother Dmytro and grandmother Nadiya.

Uk: Один зимовий ранок Олеся, у пошуках старого ковзана, заглянула до старої клуні.
En: One winter morning, Olesia, in search of an old skate, peered into the old barn.

Uk: Несподівано, під купою сіна, вона натрапила на древній щоденник.
