Story Transcript:

Ko: 한국 전통 사찰에서 일어난 이야기를 들려드리겠습니다.
En: I will tell you a story that happened in a traditional Korean temple.

Ko: 한 날, 한 외국인 여행객인 지수는 민지와 재현과 함께 사찰을 방문하였습니다.
En: One day, Ji-soo, a foreign tourist, visited a temple with Min-ji and Jae-hyun.

Ko: 사찰 안으로 들어가자마자, 지수는 절 안을 복잡하게 따라하기 시작했습니다.
En: As soon as he entered the temple, Jisoo began following the inside of the temple intricately.

Ko: 그런데 실수로 조각상에 부딪혔어요!
En: But I accidentally bumped into a statue!

Ko: 지수는 조각상이 넘어지게 만들었고, 사람들이 크게 놀라기 시작했습니다.
En: Jisoo caused the statue to fall, and people started to panic.

Ko: 그 순간, 조각상은 쓰러지며 부시시한 소리를 내고 바닥에 떨어져 파편으로 쪼개졌습니다.
En: At that moment, the statue tumbled and fell to the floor with a crackling sound, breaking into fragments.

Ko: 민지와 재현은 지수에게 마음을 졸이며 도와주기 시작했습니다.
En: Min-ji and Jae-hyun started to help Ji-soo with anxiety.

Ko: 모두가 조각상을 함께 수습하기 위해 분주하게 움직이자, 사찰 안은 여느 때와 다름없이 평화롭습니다.
En: As everyone busily moves to collect the statue together, the inside of the temple is as peaceful as usual.

Ko: 하지만 한 낯선 손님은 사찰 안을 헤매며 소란을 일으키고 있습니다.
En: However, a stranger is wandering around the temple and causing a commotion.

Ko: 그는 기분 좋게 선을 그어가며 지수에게 닿지 않도록 피해서 움직입니다.
En: He happily draws a line and moves to avoid touching Jisoo.

Ko: 모두가 조각상을 타고 있는 와중에도, 손님은 오직 지수를 추궁합니다.
En: Even while everyone is riding the statue, guests only question Jisoo.

Ko: 민지와 재현은 당황스럽습니다.
En: Minji and Jaehyun are embarrassed.

Ko: 이때, 민지는 솔직하고 용기 있는 말로 손님에게 다가갑니다.
En: At this time, Minji approaches the customer with honest and courageous words.

Ko: 그녀는 손님에게 달려가서 지수를 보호하며 말했습니다.
En: She ran to the guest and said protecting Jisoo.

Ko: "지금은 조각상이 우리의 중점입니다.
En: "Right now the statue is our focus.

Ko: 왜 우리가 사찰 안에서 서로를 방해하려는 건가요?
En: Why are we trying to disturb each other inside the temple?"

Ko: " 이 말에 손님도 조금은 알아들을 수 있을 것 같았습니다.
En: It seemed that the guests could understand a little bit of this.

Ko: 그때문인지 손님은 민지의 말을 깊게 생각하고, 조금은 억제된 모습으로 깨끗한 옷을 갈 곳을 찾아 떠났습니다.
En: Perhaps because of that, the guest thought deeply about Minji's words and left looking for a place to go for clean clothes with a little restrained look.

Ko: 민지와 재현은 안심하며 다시 조각상을 완성하기 위해 열심히 일했습니다.
En: Minji and Jaehyun were relieved and worked hard to complete the statue again.

Ko: 많은 시간과 노력 끝에, 조각상은 다시 원래의 자리에 세우려 이상적인 모습을 완성했습니다.
En: After a lot of time and effort, the statue was put back in its original position, perfecting its ideal shape.

Ko: 이 소설에서 중점은 사람들 간의 대화와 해결책에 있었습니다.
En: In this novel, the focus was on dialogue and solutions between people.

Ko: 민지의 용기와 이해심 있는 말로 인해 중심 갈등이 해결되었으며, 사찰 안에는 다시 평화가 찾아왔습니다.
En: Minji's courage and understanding words have resolved the central conflict, and peace has returned to the temple.
