Pl: Kasia stała przed drzwiami komisariatu, z zaciśniętymi dłońmi i szybko bijącym sercem.
En: Kasia stood in front of the police station door, with clenched hands and a rapidly beating heart.

Pl: Jesienny wiatr targał kolorowe liście za jej plecami.
En: The autumn wind was rustling colorful leaves behind her.

Pl: W środku panował nieustanny ruch: dźwięk kroków, dzwoniące telefony i cichy szum rozmów.
En: Inside, there was constant movement: the sound of footsteps, ringing phones, and a quiet hum of conversations.

Pl: Po lewej stronie, na ścianie, wisiały kolorowe plakaty o lokalnych festynach i wieczorach poetyckich, które od lat nikt nie zaktualizował.
En: On the left side, on the wall, hung colorful posters about local festivals and poetry evenings that no one had updated for years.

Pl: Kasia wzięła głęboki oddech i ruszyła przed siebie.
