Pl: Zofia szła korytarzem zabytkowej szkoły w Tatrach, szukając spokoju wśród książek.
En: Zofia walked through the corridor of the historic school in the Tatry Mountains, seeking peace among the books.

Pl: W powietrzu unosił się zapach starego drewna i papieru.
En: The air was filled with the scent of old wood and paper.

Pl: Za oknami wiatr sypał śnieg na martwe gałęzie drzew.
En: Outside the windows, the wind was blowing snow onto the dead branches of the trees.

Pl: Tego ranka Zofia miała w rękach klucz do gabinetu starego nauczyciela historii, profesora Nowaka.
En: That morning, Zofia had in her hands a key to the office of the old history teacher, Professor Nowak.

Pl: Zlokalizowała biurko, które przez lata służyło wielu pokoleniom.
En: She located the desk that had served many generations over the years.

Pl: Wieczorem Zofia przyprowadziła do swojego pokoju Krzysztofa i Anię.

Pl: "Zobaczcie na to!" - powiedziała.
