Hi: सर्दियों की उस शाम, कॉलेज का डॉर्म खचाखच भरा था।
En: That winter evening, the college dorm was packed full.

Hi: हर तरफ किताबें पसर रखी थीं।
En: Books were sprawled everywhere.

Hi: ठंडी हवा को रोकने के लिए खिड़कियाँ बंद थीं, लेकिन कमरे में गर्माहट थी दोस्तों के साथ होने की।
En: The windows were closed to keep out the cold air, but the room was warm with the presence of friends.

Hi: दीवारों पर पतंगें टंगी थीं, मकर संक्रांति का उत्सव जो था।
En: Kites were hung on the walls; it was the festival of Makar Sankranti, after all.

Hi: रोहन वहाँ बैठा सोच रहा था।
En: Rohan was sitting there, lost in thought.
