This week I sit down with Britt Piper to have a real and raw talk about trauma, body memory, and the kind of healing that doesn’t come in a neat little box. We explore what it means to live with pain instead of trying to outrun it, and how the body often knows exactly what to do—even when the mind can’t make sense of it. If you’ve ever felt “too much” or wondered why healing feels so slow, this episode will speak directly to your nervous system.
Britt Piper is a trauma-informed coach, somatic practitioner, and the founder of the Body-First Healing™ Program. Her work is deeply rooted in her own journey of survival and transformation—having endured abuse, bullying, rape, and addiction. After spending time in jail and using alcohol to cope with a lifetime of pain, Britt found healing through somatic work, nervous system regulation, and reconnecting with her body. Today, she helps others break free from cycles of trauma and chronic dysregulation, guiding them toward safety, empowerment, and self-trust. Through her upcoming book Body-First Healing and her online programs, Britt supports thousands in moving from survival into sovereignty.
