Da: Regnen faldt tungt på Københavns ibenholt sorte brolægning.
En: The rain fell heavily on Copenhagen's ebony black pavement.

Da: I en hyggelig, varm café ved Kongens Nytorv mødtes Lars og Sofie.
En: In a cozy, warm café near Kongens Nytorv, Lars and Sofie met.

Da: De trådte ind, rystede regndråberne af deres frakker, bestilte en kop kaffe og satte sig ved et lille hjørnebord.
En: They stepped inside, shook the raindrops off their coats, ordered a cup of coffee, and sat at a small corner table.
