En: It was a busy day with happy people and many activities.

Da: Freja og hendes lille søn Lars gik hånd i hånd igennem parken.
En: Freja and her little son Lars walked hand in hand through the park.

En: Freja had taken a rare day off, determined to give Lars an unforgettable day.

Da: Lars' øjne lyste af spænding.
En: Lars' eyes sparkled with excitement.

Da: Han elskede Tivoli.
En: He loved Tivoli.

En: Flowers bloomed in all the colors of the rainbow, and the air was filled with music and the scent of popcorn and freshly grilled sausages.

En: Freja looked at her son and felt a mix of joy and guilt.

Da: Hun vidste, at hendes job som sygeplejerske holdt hende væk fra ham for ofte.
En: She knew that her job as a nurse kept her away from him too often.

Da: "Hvad vil du prøve først, Lars?"
En: "What do you want to try first, Lars?"

Da: spurgte Freja med et smil.
En: Freja asked with a smile.

Da: "Rutsjebanen, mor!"
En: "The roller coaster, Mom!"

En: Lars replied excitedly and ran towards the line for the big wooden roller coaster.

Da: Freja fulgte med, glad for at se ham så lykkelig.
En: Freja followed, happy to see him so joyful.

En: They waited in line, and soon it was their turn.

En: They went up and down, and Lars screamed with delight the whole way.

Da: De prøvede mange forlystelser, spiste is og vandrede rundt i de smukke haver.
En: They tried many attractions, ate ice cream, and wandered around the beautiful gardens.

Da: Men midt i alt dette, begyndte Frejas telefon at ringe.
En: But in the midst of it all, Freja's phone began to ring.

Da: Det var hospitalet.
En: It was the hospital.

Da: De havde brug for hende.
En: They needed her.

Da: Freja stoppede og kiggede på skærmen.
En: Freja stopped and looked at the screen.

Da: Hun vidste, at nogen havde brug for hendes hjælp.
En: She knew that someone needed her help.

En: But she also saw Lars' happy face.

En: She couldn't bring herself to ruin his day.

En: She took a deep breath and turned off her phone.

Da: "I dag er vores dag", tænkte hun beslutsomt.
En: "Today is our day," she thought decisively.

En: They continued their adventure and ended up at the big Ferris wheel.

En: They boarded and slowly rose above Copenhagen.

Da: Udsigten var fantastisk.
En: The view was amazing.

En: Lars clung to his mother and said, "Mom, this is the best day ever."

Da: Freja krammede Lars tæt.
En: Freja hugged Lars tightly.

Da: Hendes hjerte følte sig lettere.
En: Her heart felt lighter.

Da: Hun vidste, at hun havde taget den rigtige beslutning.
En: She knew she had made the right decision.

Da: Efter den lange dag gik de hjem, trætte men lykkelige.
En: After the long day, they went home, tired but happy.

En: When Lars had fallen asleep, Freja sat down and reflected on the day.

En: She realized that while her work was important, her time with Lars was just as important.

En: She decided to talk to her boss about a more manageable schedule so she could be more present for her son.

En: Freja looked at Lars, who slept peacefully.

En: She kissed him on the forehead and whispered, "I love you, my treasure."
