Da: Lars kiggede ud af vinduet.
En: Lars looked out the window.

Da: Sneen dalede stille i København.
En: The snow fell quietly in København.

Da: Vintermørket lagde sig som et tæppe over byen.
En: The winter darkness laid itself like a blanket over the city.

Da: Han følte en længsel.
En: He felt a longing.

Da: Ikke efter sommer, men efter Mette.
En: Not for summer, but for Mette.

Da: Hun befandt sig i Sydney, midt i sol og varme.
En: She was in Sydney, amidst the sun and warmth.

Da: For længe siden havde de besluttet at holde jul sammen.
En: Long ago, they had decided to spend Christmas together.

Da: Lars havde en hemmelig plan.
En: Lars had a secret plan.
