Ko: 남대문 시장은 가을의 색깔로 가득 찼습니다.
En: The Namdaemun market was filled with the colors of autumn.

Ko: 곳곳에서 판매자들은 손님을 부르며 바쁘고, 가판대에는 가을 축제를 위한 제철 농산물과 화려한 한복이 진열되어 있었습니다.
En: Sellers were busy calling to customers everywhere, and seasonal produce for the autumn festival and colorful hanbok were displayed on the stalls.

Ko: 구운 밤의 흙냄새와 떡의 달콤한 향기가 추석의 분위기를 물씬 풍기고 있었습니다.
En: The earthy smell of roasted chestnuts and the sweet aroma of rice cakes greatly enhanced the atmosphere of Chuseok.

Ko: 수진은 시장 한가운데서 수첩을 들고 서 있었습니다.
En: Sujin stood in the middle of the market holding a notebook.

Ko: 그녀는 이번 추석을 성공적으로 준비하고 싶은 마음에 가득 차 있었습니다.
En: Her heart was full of a desire to successfully prepare for this Chuseok.

Ko: 한편, 얼마 전 유학에서 돌아온 수진의 동생 민호는 그런 그녀를 도와주고 있었습니다.
En: Meanwhile, her brother Minho, who had recently returned from studying abroad, was helping her.

Ko: 하지만 민호는 여전히 전통에 대해 크게 관심이 없었습니다.
En: However, Minho still didn’t have much interest in tradition.

Ko: "수진아, 꼭 이런 거 다 필요해?" 민호가 물었습니다.
En: "Sujin ah, do we really need all of this?" Minho asked.

Ko: 그는 다른 곳을 둘러보며 한숨을 쉬었습니다.
En: He sighed, looking around.

Ko: "네가 모르겠지만, 이런 건 중요한 거야.
En: "You might not understand, but this is important.

Ko: 우리 가족에게 의미가 있잖아." 수진은 답했습니다.
En: It means a lot to our family," Sujin replied.

Ko: 그녀의 마음은 조금씩 불안해졌습니다.
En: Her heart was growing slightly uneasy.

Ko: 예산이 한정되어 있었고, 시간을 어떻게든 맞춰야 했습니다.
En: The budget was limited, and she had to somehow meet the timing.

Ko: 친구 지은은 언제나처럼 수진의 곁에서 도움을 주었습니다.
En: Their friend Jieun was always there to help Sujin.

Ko: 지은은 시장의 한 상점에서 일을 하고 있었습니다.
En: Jieun was working in one of the market's shops.

Ko: "걱정 마, 우리가 다 찾을 수 있을 거야," 지은은 자신 있게 말했습니다.

En: However, the situation became more difficult.

Ko: 필요한 중요한 재료가 품절이라는 말을 들었을 때, 수진은 어떻게 해야 할지 막막했습니다.
En: When they heard that an important ingredient was out of stock, Sujin felt helpless.

Ko: "어떡하지? 이게 없으면 안 되는데..." 수진은 초조해졌습니다.
En: "What should we do? We can’t do without this…" Sujin became anxious.

Ko: 그때, 민호가 무언가 깨달은 듯 말했습니다.
En: At that moment, Minho seemed to realize something and said,

Ko: "수진아, 내가 한번 알아볼게.
En: "Sujin ah, let me look into it.

Ko: 네가 이만큼 노력하는데, 내가 도와줘야지." 그 말은 수진에게 큰 힘이 되었습니다.
En: You’re putting in so much effort, I need to help," those words gave Sujin great strength.

Ko: 민호는 그의 친구에게 전화를 걸어 필요한 재료를 찾았습니다.
En: Minho called a friend and found the necessary ingredients.

Ko: 수진과 민호는 함께 필요한 준비를 끝냈습니다.
En: Together, Sujin and Minho completed the preparations.

Ko: 오랜만에 두 남매는 함께 웃었습니다.
En: For the first time in a while, the siblings laughed together.

Ko: 추석 날, 수진은 준비한 음식을 가족 앞에 내놓았습니다.
En: On the day of Chuseok, Sujin presented the prepared food to her family.
