Da: På en solrig dag i havnebyen København findes Ingrid, en sydamerikansk turist, forvildet rundt på Strøget.
En: On a sunny day in the harbor city of Copenhagen, Ingrid, a South American tourist, finds herself lost on Strøget.

Da: Hun har det svært med det danske sprog, det bekymrer hende.
En: She is struggling with the Danish language, and it worries her.

Da: Gennem menneskemængden ser hun en venlig mand, hans navn er Lars.
En: Through the crowd, she sees a friendly man named Lars.

Da: "God dag!"
En: "Good day!"

Da: siger Lars.
En: says Lars.

Da: Ingrid nikker genert.
En: Ingrid shyly nods.
