En: With a snippet from her guidebook, she challenged Lars with a Danish wordplay.

Da: "Kan du sige "rødgrød med fløde"?

En: she asked.

Da: Lars grinede og forsøgte at udtale ordene klart og tydeligt.
En: Lars laughed and tried to pronounce the words clearly.

En: Karen listened attentively, but when it was her turn, it sounded more like "rod grod mid flo-de".

En: They kept at it until the sky started to darken.

En: On their way back to Karen's hotel, they stopped at a street food environment.

Da: "Fantastisk!
En: "Fantastic!"

Da: " sagde hun.
En: she said.

En: This time, it sounded almost perfect.

Da: Lars klappede i sine hænder og jublede.
En: Lars clapped his hands and cheered.

En: It was getting late, so they bid each other farewell.

En: As she left, Karen turned around and said, "thank you for a wonderful day, Lars.

En: I will never forget rødgrød med fløde".
