In today's Monday Message, Emily talks about the truest form of self love. Do your choices and actions align with the highest version of you? She talks about how the messaging of the world today tells us to do whatever we please as long as it makes us happy and we're not hurting anyone. This supposedly is considered "self love." But actually this is a lack of self control. There is power in self control and intentionality. Things like over consumption of alcohol, doing drugs, having one night stands, it all leaves you empty inside and will never satisfy the longing in your heart. That's because those choices don't align with the truest version of ourselves. You can break free from this unconscious way of living that keeps you stuck in these patterns that you've always been in. It is in your choices that is creating your reality. That's today's message.

Emily is doing a series with past clients to allow them to share their personal growth journey of evolving. Lexie explains how she has worked with other coaches in the past and although they were great, she realized she wasn't ready to make the changes necessary at that time in her life. Lexie explains how negative things in life are necessary and are meant to teach you something and it's important to try to learn from every situation you are given. In today's Monday Message, Emily talks about doing the right thing and when you don't, do whatever you need to do to make that wrong right. Since we're all human, we all have moments that we aren't proud of. Moments that don't align with the highest and best version of ourselves. The important thing to do in those situations is to own it, ask for forgiveness, make amends and be better next time. When you allow the past to hold on to you, you're essentially giving up your freedom to whatever shame or guilt you feel from those moments of wrong-doing. That was the old you and you can't carry that in your heart, mind and soul any longer. Do whatever you need to do to make it right and forgive yourself. Maybe someone hurt you and you can't let go of the anger or hurt you feel inside. You are living in your own prison of resentment and bitterness. Again, you have to choose forgiveness. Take inventory of what's tying you down to your old life, guilt or shame, anger or hurt. Find the root cause, own up to your mistakes, give yourself grace and choose to do better today. Don't stay stuck. That's today's message.

In today's episode, Emily has a very special guest, Beckie Venard. Beckie is a client of Emily's Evolve X mentorship program. Emily is doing a series with past clients to allow them to share their personal growth journey of evolving. Each client has a very different experience and we are so honored to be sharing some of them. Being from a small town, Beckie shares how she has always thought of herself as an outsider. She desperately was seeking community and like minded individuals in her life who were passionate about evolving. That was one of the reasons she joined the Evolve X program. Beckie shares that a big part of the program that was an impact on her was becoming more self aware and how important the journal prompts were in helping her increase her self awareness. Beckie states that she struggled talking to people and felt that being the quiet one was holding her back and hindering her as a personal trainer and host of her show Relentlessly Fit Podcast. But as she went through the program she really started to own being an introvert and realized it was part of her purpose. Every week the program focuses on a different topic and she shares about her hardest week in the program, how she got through it and what she learned from it. Beckie says the program gave her confidence and helped her build consistency which has been life changing for her. Listen to hear Beckie's full evolving journey and what advice she gives to the new group that are about to start on theirs.
