Da: Tivoli Gardens var fyldt med lys.
En: Tivoli Gardens was filled with lights.

Da: Det duftede af gløgg og varme æbleskiver.
En: The scent of gløgg and warm æbleskiver filled the air.

Da: Sneen knirkede under fødderne.

Da: Mikkel gik gennem haven med en rygsæk på ryggen.
En: Mikkel walked through the gardens with a backpack on his back.

Da: Han skyndte sig.
En: He hurried.
