Da: Nyhavn var levende denne sommermorgen.
En: Nyhavn was lively this summer morning.

Da: Solen strålede over havnen, og turistbåde sejlede roligt forbi de farverige huse.
En: The sun shone over the harbor, and tourist boats sailed calmly past the colorful houses.

En: Everywhere, artists sat with brushes in hand, deeply concentrated on capturing the festive atmosphere.

En: Kasper sat on the edge of the pier with his sketchpad.

En: He felt small among the talented artists.

En: He knew that his assignment for summer school needed to be something special.

Da: Men tvivlen nagede.
En: But doubt gnawed at him.

En: How was he supposed to create something that would impress?

Da: Astrid kom gående med selvsikre skridt.
En: Astrid walked up with confident steps.

En: She sat down next to Kasper.

Da: "Hej, Kasper!
En: "Hi, Kasper!

Da: Hvordan går din skitse?"
En: How's your sketch going?"

Da: spurgte hun med et varmt smil.
En: she asked with a warm smile.

En: Kasper looked up and saw her eager eyes.

Da: "Jeg ved ikke," svarede han tøvende.
En: "I don't know," he replied hesitantly.

En: "I just feel like it's not good enough."

Da: Astrid kiggede på hans arbejde.
En: Astrid looked at his work.

Da: "Det er en rigtig god start.
En: "It's a really good start.

En: Maybe we can work on it together," she suggested.

En: Kasper hesitated, but then he accepted her offer.

En: They spent the next few hours with their heads close together.

Da: Astrid hjalp med perspektiver og farvevalg.
En: Astrid helped with perspectives and color choices.

Da: Kasper begyndte at se mulighederne, i stedet for begrænsningerne.
En: Kasper began to see possibilities instead of limitations.

Da: Pludselig træk tunge skyer op på himlen.
En: Suddenly, heavy clouds gathered in the sky.

En: A rain shower broke out, and they ran under an awning.

Da: De grinede, regnen havde gjort dem helt våde.
En: They laughed as the rain had made them completely wet.

En: While they waited, they talked about their passions and dreams.

En: Kasper opened up about his insecurity and fear of not being good enough.

En: Astrid shared that even she sometimes doubted herself, despite her confidence.

Da: Regnen stilnede af.
En: The rain subsided.

Da: Kasper følte sig anderledes.
En: Kasper felt different.

Da: Lettere.
En: Lighter.

Da: Fyldt med ny energi og selvtillid.
En: Filled with new energy and confidence.

En: They continued working together; each brushstroke now felt like a symbiosis of their ideas.

Da: Endelig stod deres projekt færdigt.
En: Finally, their project was completed.

En: A beautiful painting of Nyhavn's vibrant life with both Kasper and Astrid's personal touch.

Da: Det var unikt og værdifuldt.
En: It was unique and valuable.

Da: Kasper kiggede på Astrid.
En: Kasper looked at Astrid.

Da: "Tak for din hjælp.
En: "Thank you for your help.

En: I've learned that my work actually has value," he said gratefully.

En: Astrid smiled and gave him a friendly nudge.

Da: "Din kunst er fantastisk, Kasper.
En: "Your art is amazing, Kasper.

Da: Bare tro på det."
En: Just believe in it."

En: Now Kasper was ready to face the world with newfound confidence and a strong, new friend by his side.

En: Nyhavn lit up in the afternoon sun as if it, too, could sense the change.
