It: In una luminosa giornata di sole, Giovanni si trovava a passeggio lungo le affollate strade di Roma.
En: On a bright sunny day, Giovanni was walking along the crowded streets of Rome.

It: Era un ragazzo allegro e vivace, con i capelli scuri e un sorriso contagiante.
En: He was a cheerful and vivacious boy, with dark hair and an infectious smile.

It: Mentre si dirigeva verso la Piazza Navona, Giovanni pensava a cosa avrebbe voluto mangiare per pranzo.
