It: Il sole di mezzogiorno splendeva forte sui canali di Venezia.
En: The midday sun shone brightly over the canals of Venezia.

It: Lorenzo era in piedi sulla sua gondola, la barca nera lucente, mentre remava dolcemente tra le acque calme.
En: Lorenzo stood on his gondola, the shiny black boat, while he rowed gently through the calm waters.
