I have been addicted to sugar for about 10 years.
And trust me when I say, I have tried every single freakin’ diet to beat this.It either wouldn’t work at all (for ME), or it would work temporarily but the cravings would get too strong after a while and I’d give up.
But for the first time ever, I have been off sugar for 60+ days, and I more than anyone else am surprised lol.
I think there are 3 reasons why it has stuck this time around.
And I want to share them with you, in case you too are looking to get rid of an unhealthy habit or start a better one.
Hint: It’s nothing to do with discipline, self-care, or motivation.
Tune in to hear the 3 shifts that have helped me beat a decade-long addiction, and how we can all use these 3 lessons to improve ANY area of our lives.

Does therapy work?
Yes and no.
Therapy is a “top-down” approach that can at best give you 30-40% relief. You will keep your head above water. But if you want to feel calm, confident, connected, and courageous - we need a three-pronged approach.
I call this the Tripod Model, and in this episode, I will share with you what goes into each pillar of the tripod, so you can go from simply surviving, to truly thriving.
P.S.: This is the first episode in a series on modern mental health. Please subscribe if you’d like to be notified of future episodes!

Some of us get so caught up in what could go wrong, that we stay paralyzed. This is the worst decision though, since joy and fulfillment is always on the other side of fear.
In todays episode, I share a little known method for removing the shackles of extreme anxiety.
If you use this technique consistently, you will feel calm, confident and courageous to take the action toward the life you want.

Many of our clients say they have lost themselves in the race to the top. A decade of busyness later, they look around at all the fancy things they have accumulated, and instead of feeling joy, they feel….numb.
If you are in this boat too, please know you are not alone. It’s a good thing that you are pausing to notice your own boredom and exhaustion - it means you are waking up.
The way back to your true nature - your unique joy, creativity, flow, courage and purpose - is two fold.
In this episode, I share what those two things are, and how to begin the journey back.

I used to go through life in a trance.
Feeling sad, flat, annoyed, empty, lonely and anxious….all the while running more and more frantically on the proverbial treadmill.
This set up inner conflict, which spilled over into my life in all kinds of awful ways.
In todays episode, I’ll share my process for knowing if YOU are out of alignment with who you truly are, and how to course correct, so you can wake up, and live a full, satisfying and purposeful life.

A few months ago, I did an episode called “What’s Your F Type?” that you all LOVED.
We have been getting a lot of questions about those tools, so I’ve decided to do a LIVE training on them inside our free FB group next week (link below to join). Here is an encore, so you can come prepared with your own questions for our live session! Enjoy and see you soon!
----------------------------------------------------
How do you react when someone cuts you up in traffic?
It’s annoying, right?!
What about when someone ignores you or roll their eyes at something you said?
How do you respond when somebody hurts your feelings or rejects your ideas?
The way you respond when you get poked or triggered is called your “F” type.
And knowing your “F” type is a kind of awareness that can be life-changing.
In this episode, I’m diving deeper into what triggers are, why they elicit a reaction from you, and the four types of reactions you can have to a trigger so you can learn how to deal with them more effectively.
When you discover which “F” type you fall into most commonly, you can start shifting the way you show up in the world.
As I said, it’s life-changing.
So listen closely, take notes, and bring your questions to our LIVE training inside our free FB group next week!

The older I get, the more I realize the power of pausing, slowing down and making conscious choices in the moment.
It’s not easy. But if we want something new, we have to do something new, am I right?
Lucky for us, Dr. Jessie Mahoney is an expert in pausing and bringing presence to our homes, workplaces, and day to day lives. And she shares so many pearls of wisdom in this conversation.
As we head into the hustle and bustle of the holidays, this might be a perfect time to begin using these pearls!
I hope you will slow down enough to savor the conversation. (Ha!)
