Da: Freja stod ved kajen, tæt på Den Lille Havfrue statue i København.
En: Freja stood by the quay, close to Den Lille Havfrue statue in København.

Da: Solen var ved at gå ned, og luften emmede af forventning.
En: The sun was setting, and the air was filled with anticipation.

Da: Det var midsommer, en tid hvor dansk tradition var i fuld flor.
En: It was midsummer, a time when Danish tradition was in full bloom.

Da: Freja betragtede de mange mennesker omkring hende.
En: Freja observed the many people around her.
