When you start a business you don’t quite know the whole scope of what you’re getting into.

Sure you might have a basic idea of what you think you need to do to run a successful business…

But in reality, running a business is like an iceberg. There’s the part you see above the water (aka what you see on social media) and then a whole heap that goes on below the water and behind the scenes that you don’t see.

What’s going on below the water is often not shown or talked about enough but is super important to be aware of.

At the start of the year, I had one of my most challenging launches.

Despite being a seasoned Launch Wizard:

• I ended the launch not reaching my goal
• I heard ‘no’ wayyyyyyy more times than I heard ‘yes’ + was ghosted A LOT
• People who I thought would sign up didn’t 
• I literally had an entire 4 weeks of no sales 

I found it really fucking hard to sell my offer and even though my launch didn’t go to plan – I didn’t make it mean I’m shit at launching or swear off launching forever.

It’s just one of those things that sometimes happens in business and you can either choose to let it destroy you or you can take the lessons and keep moving.

I chose to take the lessons and keep moving because I’m a big believer that there’s ALWAYS something you can learn from your launches if you take the time to look for them.

And this story has a happy ending because fast forward 6 months I went from having my most challenging launch to having my most easy and fun launch.

Black Friday & Cyber Monday are fast approaching…

It’s the time of the year when your inbox and social media feed are inundated with big sales and special offers.

And even though Black Friday isn’t until the 24th of November (with Cyber Monday following a few days later), you’ll probably notice things go up a notch or a 100 in the first couple of weeks of November.

Black Friday started in the United States to mark the start of the Christmas shopping season – but it’s become a global sales period where many brands and businesses run highly promoted sales at discounted prices.

This is my third year doing a Black Friday launch and each year it seems like more and more businesses have Black Friday sales or offers.

There are a lot of burnt-out business owners in the online space.

I believe this is the case for a number of reasons:

• During the pandemic online business owners worked a whole lot more than you usually would because what else was there to do?
