Story Transcript:

En: Lars and Mette were on a trip to Tivoli.

En: Lars wanted to impress Mette, so he decided to win a big stuffed animal for her.

En: They went to a game where they had to throw rings around bottles.

En: Lars threw rings after rings, but none of them hit.

En: Mette cheered Lars on and said, "You can do it, Lars!"

En: In the end, one of the rings landed on a bottle and Lars won!

En: But when he went to claim his prize, he discovered it was a giant stuffed animal.

En: It was so big that Lars couldn't carry it anywhere.

En: Mette started to laugh and said, "That's really impressive, Lars!"

Da: Lars forsøgte at bære tøjdyret, men det var alt for tungt.
En: Lars tried to carry the stuffed animal, but it was far too heavy.

Da: Han besluttede sig for at trække det efter sig i stedet.
En: He decided to drag it behind him instead.

En: They walked around the Tivoli, and everyone looked at them with wide eyes.

En: People smiled and pointed at the huge stuffed animal.

Da: Pludselig kom de forbi en børnekarussel.
En: Suddenly they passed a children's carousel.

En: Lars got an idea and said, "Let's jump on the carousel, Mette!"

En: Mette nodded enthusiastically, and the two jumped on the carousel.

En: Lars put the giant stuffed animal next to him, and they began to turn round and round.

Da: Det var så sjovt!
En: It was so funny!

En: After the merry-go-round, they were both dizzy and tired.

En: Lars looked at Mette and said, "Maybe it's actually not that important to impress you with big things.

En: The most important thing is that we have fun together."

En: Mette smiled and replied, "You're right, Lars.

Da: Jeg er glad for, at du er her med mig."
En: I'm glad you're here with me."

En: Lars and Mette left Tivoli, and although Lars had not won a small stuffed animal for Mette, he knew he had won her heart.

En: It was a fantastic day in Tivoli which they would never forget.
