En: Lars woke up.

Da: Han boede i København.
En: He lived in Copenhagen.

Da: Solen skinnede.
En: The sun was shining.

Da: Lars hoppede på cyklen.
En: Lars hopped on his bike.

Da: Pludselig skiftede vindretningen.
En: Suddenly, the wind changed direction.

Da: Hjulet drejede mod højre, forbi de gamle brostensbelagte gader og direkte ind i en købmandsbutik.
En: The wheel turned to the right, past the old cobblestone streets and directly into a grocery store.

Da: Store vinduer rystede.
En: Large windows shook.

Da: Glasset knuste.
En: The glass shattered.

Da: Forskrækkede kunder og personalet sprang til siden.
En: Startled customers and staff jumped aside.

Da: Han havde skabt kaos.
En: He had caused chaos.

Da: Lars hoppe af cyklen, stiv af skræk.
En: Lars jumped off his bike, stiff with fright.

Da: En gammel dame græd.
En: An old lady cried.

Da: En mand med skæg rystede på hovedet.
En: A bearded man shook his head.

Da: Købmanden, en kraftig mand med briller, rystede på hovedet.
En: The grocer, a strong man with glasses, shook his head.

Da: "Hvad laver du, Lars?
En: "What are you doing, Lars?"

Da: " sagde han.
En: he said.

Da: Der var stilhed.
En: There was silence.

Da: Lars kiggede rundt.
En: Lars looked around.

Da: Butikshylderne var væltede.
En: The store shelves were toppled.

Da: Appelsiner rullede på gulvet.
En: Oranges rolled on the floor.

Da: Han følte sig flov.
En: He felt embarrassed.

Da: Men han vidste, han skulle gøre det rigtige.
En: But he knew he had to do the right thing.

Da: "Undskyld," sagde han.
En: "I'm sorry," he said.

Da: "Jeg vil betale for skaderne.
En: "I will pay for the damages."

Da: "Købmanden nikkede.
En: The grocer nodded.

Da: "Men du skal også hjælpe med at rydde op," sagde han.
En: "But you also need to help clean up," he said.

Da: Lars tilbragte dagen med at rydde op i butikken.
En: Lars spent the day cleaning up the store.

Da: Det var hårdt arbejde, men han følte sig bedre bagefter.
En: It was hard work, but he felt better afterwards.

Da: Købmanden gav ham et klap på skulderen.
En: The grocer patted him on the shoulder.

Da: "Godt gået, Lars," sagde han.
En: "Well done, Lars," he said.

Da: Og efter den dag, cyklede Lars altid forsigtigt, især når det blæste.
En: And after that day, Lars always cycled carefully, especially when it was windy.
