Story Transcript:

Da: Sveden drypper fra Kaspers pande, mens solen brænder ned fra himlen.
En: Sweat drips from Kasper's forehead as the sun blazes down from the sky.

Da: Mette går ved hans side og knipser billeder med sit kamera.
En: Mette walks by his side, snapping pictures with her camera.

Da: De er på skoleudflugt i en ørkenoase i Marokko, omgivet af endeløse klitter.
En: They are on a school trip in a desert oasis in Morocco, surrounded by endless dunes.

Da: De har glædet sig til denne tur hele året.
En: They have been looking forward to this trip all year.

Da: "Vi skal finde noget skygge," siger Kasper og ser sig omkring.
En: "We need to find some shade," says Kasper, looking around.

Da: Der er ikke meget vegetation, kun et par spredte palmer og en lille kilde med vand.
En: There isn't much vegetation, just a few scattered palm trees and a small spring with water.

Da: "Jeg vil tage et billede derovre," siger Mette og peger på en særlig høj klit.
En: "I want to take a picture over there," says Mette, pointing at a particularly high dune.

Da: "Vi må ikke gå for langt væk fra gruppen," advarer Kasper.
En: "We mustn't stray too far from the group," Kasper warns.

Da: Mette nikker, men smutter alligevel af sted.
En: Mette nods but slips away anyway.

Da: Kasper følger med, nervøs for at miste hende af syne.
En: Kasper follows nervously, afraid of losing sight of her.

Da: Det er sommer, og varmen er ubarmhjertig.
En: It's summer, and the heat is relentless.

Da: De går op ad klitten, og da de når toppen, ser de sig forvildet omkring.
En: They climb the dune, and when they reach the top, they look around, confused.

En: The group is no longer visible.

Da: Kaspers hjerte banker hurtigere.
En: Kasper's heart beats faster.

Da: "Hvad gør vi nu?"
En: "What do we do now?"

En: "We have to think," says Kasper, wiping the sweat from his face.

Da: "Vi har ikke meget vand og ingen mad."
En: "We don't have much water and no food."

Da: "Jeg vil tage endnu et billede," insisterer Mette, men Kasper ryster på hovedet.
En: "I want to take another picture," insists Mette, but Kasper shakes his head.

Da: "Vi bliver nødt til at finde skygge og vente."
En: "We need to find some shade and wait."

Da: De sætter sig under en af de få palmer og prøver at samle deres tanker.
En: They sit under one of the few palm trees and try to gather their thoughts.

Da: Tiden går langsomt, og skyggerne bliver længere.
En: Time passes slowly, and the shadows grow longer.

Da: Mette tager forsigtigt sit kamera frem og inspicerer batteriet.
En: Mette carefully takes out her camera and inspects the battery.

Da: Der er kun lidt strøm tilbage.
En: There is only a little power left.

Da: "Vi skal signalere gruppen," siger Kasper.
En: "We need to signal the group," says Kasper.

Da: "De må komme tilbage og lede efter os."
En: "They must come back and look for us."

Da: Mette nikker og tager et billede af himlen.
En: Mette nods and takes a picture of the sky.

Da: Blitzen lyser midt i skumringen, og de håber, det vil tiltrække opmærksomheden.
En: The flash lights up the twilight, and they hope it will attract attention.
