Story Transcript:

En: Midsummer in København is something special, and the buzzing atmosphere in Tivoli Gardens fills the air with magic.

En: Jens and Mette decided to visit Tivoli that day.

En: The sun was shining, and the park was full of life.

Da: Jens, altid på udkig efter eventyr, foreslog at prøve spejlhuset.
En: Jens, always looking for adventure, suggested trying the mirror house.

En: Mette was a bit skeptical, but she went along with it.

En: "As long as we don't get lost," said Mette worriedly as they approached the entrance to the mirror house.

Da: De gik ind i den farvestrålende labyrint.
En: They entered the colorful labyrinth.

En: The lights from the ceiling created skewed reflections, and the mirrors twisted alluringly.

Da: Men noget var galt.
En: But something was wrong.

En: The reflections in the mirrors were not as they usually were.

En: The images were distorted and cast bizarre shadows.

Da: Da de først indså, at spejlene opførte sig underligt, begyndte Jens at eksperimentere.
En: Once they realized that the mirrors were behaving strangely, Jens began to experiment.

En: "I think we need to walk backward to confuse the reflection," suggested Jens.

Da: Mette rystede på hovedet, men fulgte med, for hun vidste, at de skulle holde sammen.
En: Mette shook her head but went along because she knew they needed to stick together.

Da: Efter nogle forkerte drejninger trak Jens sin mobil frem.
En: After some wrong turns, Jens pulled out his mobile.

Da: "Jeg har en kompas-app!"
En: "I have a compass app!"

Da: udbrød han begejstret.
En: he exclaimed excitedly.

Da: Mette betragtede ham skeptisk, men de prøvede det alligevel.
En: Mette looked at him skeptically, but they tried it anyway.

En: Unfortunately, it didn't make it any easier, and they spun around like the wind blew them.

En: As they passed through the curved mirror room, Jens stumbled over his own feet and hit a hidden door.

En: It opened into a dark service corridor.

Da: "Kom, Mette!"
En: "Come on, Mette!"

En: he shouted, pulling her along.

En: The light in the corridor led directly to an exit.

En: When they finally stepped out and felt the fresh summer breeze, they burst into laughter.

En: "You see," said Mette, "chaos can be fun, but imagine if we hadn't found a way out."

Da: Jens nikkede, et grin stadig i hans øjne.
En: Jens nodded, a grin still in his eyes.

En: "I'll admit, it doesn't hurt to listen to you.

Da: Du holder hovedet koldt."
En: You keep a cool head."

En: Together, more confident and without the fear of more mirrors, they headed toward the roller coaster.

En: Tivoli's summer scents and cheerful sounds floated around them as they ventured into the next adventure, wiser and even better friends.
