Da: Lars befandt sig i København.
En: Lars found himself in Copenhagen.

Da: Han besluttede at besøge Tivoli, det berømte forlystelsespark.
En: He decided to visit Tivoli, the famous amusement park.

Da: Med tro på hjertet og en dagbillet i hånden, trådte han ind gennem porten.
En: With confidence in his heart and a day ticket in hand, he stepped through the gate.

Da: Det er en solrig dag.
En: It was a sunny day.

Da: Tivoligårdene er fyldt med glæde og spænding.
En: The Tivoli gardens were filled with joy and excitement.

Da: Men for Lars, var lamper og forlystelser nye og fremmede.
En: But for Lars, the lights and attractions were new and unfamiliar.

Da: Han begyndte at vandre rundt, uden rigtigt at vide, hvor han var på vej hen.
En: He began to wander around, not really knowing where he was going.

Da: Tivoli er stort.
En: Tivoli is big.

Da: Meget stort.
En: Very big.

Da: Og nu fandt Lars sig pludselig værende helt fortabt.
En: And now Lars suddenly found himself completely lost.

Da: Hans puls begyndte at stige.
En: His heart rate began to rise.

En: He looked at his watch.

En: Lars started to feel panic.

En: It was called the Roller Coaster.

En: He walked closer.

En: But it only made his confusion worse.
