En: They reached the carnival game with the stacked cans and Lars got the ball ready.

En: He sucked the air into his lungs and threw with all his might.

En: But like a clumsy bear, he knocked over the whole stack of cans with his very first throw.

Da: Alle begyndte at grine.
En: Everyone started laughing.

Da: Folk pegede fingre og råbte "Haha!"
En: People pointed fingers and shouted "Haha!"

En: It hurt inside Lars, but he didn't want to show it.

En: Sofie squeezed his hand and said, "It's okay, it can happen to everyone."

En: Emma, the carnival worker, couldn't stop giggling.

Da: Hendes grin var højt og smittende.
En: Her laugh was loud and infectious.

Da: Lars besluttede at gøre noget dristigt.
En: Lars decided to do something bold.

En: He walked over and said to Emma, "If you can do better, I'll buy you a soda."

En: She took the ball and threw it with a perfect curve.

En: His attempt to impress Sofie instead made someone else laugh and bring joy.

En: And it was also a kind of luck.

En: Lars even became friends with Emma and they all spent the rest of the day together, with lots of laughs and smiles.

En: It wasn't the big stuffed animal Lars had hoped to win, but it was a day full of friendship and fun, and that made it all worth it.
