Da: Luften var fyldt med duften af brændte mandler og lyden af glade stemmer.
En: The air was filled with the scent of roasted almonds and the sound of happy voices.

Da: Freja, Soren og Mikkel gik sammen gennem Tivoli Gardens.
En: Freja, Soren, and Mikkel walked together through Tivoli Gardens.

Da: De glædede sig til julemarkedet.
En: They were excited about the Christmas market.

Da: Freja elskede julelysene.
En: Freja loved the Christmas lights.

Da: Soren så frem til æbleskiverne.
En: Soren looked forward to the æbleskiver.

Da: Mikkel glædede sig til karusellen.
En: Mikkel was excited about the carousel.

Da: Det var en kold aften, men alle havde varme frakker på.
En: It was a cold evening, but everyone was wearing warm coats.

Da: "Se!"
En: "Look!"

En: Santa Claus stood by a big fir tree.

Da: Børn stod i kø for at få taget billeder.
En: Children were lined up to have their pictures taken.

Da: Freja tog Mikkel og Soren i hånden og trak dem med.
En: Freja grabbed Mikkel and Soren by the hand and pulled them along.

Da: De ventede spændt.
En: They waited eagerly.

Da: Da det blev deres tur, grinede julemanden.
En: When it was their turn, Santa Claus laughed.

Da: "Hvad ønsker I jer til jul?"
En: "What do you want for Christmas?"

Da: Julemanden nikkede og gav dem slikstokke.
En: Santa Claus nodded and gave them candy canes.

Da: De takkede og gik videre.
En: They thanked him and moved on.

Da: De gik forbi boder med julepynt og smagte forskellige delikatesser.
En: They walked past stalls with Christmas decorations and tasted various delicacies.

Da: Der var så meget at se!
En: There was so much to see!

Da: Pludselig så Mikkel en stor bamse på en stand.
En: Suddenly, Mikkel saw a big teddy bear at a stand.

Da: "Jeg vil prøve lykken!"
En: "I want to try my luck!"

Da: sagde han.
En: he said.

Da: "Er du sikker?"
En: "Are you sure?"

Da: spurgte Freja.

En: "It looks difficult."

Da: "Jeg vil prøve," insisterede Mikkel.
En: "I want to try," insisted Mikkel.

En: He paid and got three chances to hit the targets.

En: The first two attempts missed.

Da: Men på det tredje skud ramte han præcis i midten!
En: But on the third shot, he hit right in the middle!

Da: "Jeg gjorde det!"
En: "I did it!"

Da: råbte Mikkel glad.
En: Mikkel shouted happily.

Da: Han fik den store bamse.
En: He won the big teddy bear.

Da: Freja og Soren klappede og lo.
En: Freja and Soren clapped and laughed.

Da: "Godt gået, Mikkel," sagde Soren.
En: "Well done, Mikkel," said Soren.

Da: De fortsatte rundt på markedet.
En: They continued around the market.

Da: Der var så meget at opleve.
En: There was so much to experience.

Da: De kørte på karusellen, smagte mere mad, og så på fyrværkeri.
En: They rode the carousel, tasted more food, and watched fireworks.

Da: Efter en lang aften besluttede de sig for at tage hjem.
En: After a long evening, they decided to head home.

En: As they walked toward the exit, Freja said, "It was a fantastic evening."
