En: She sat down next to Søren.

En: "Hi, Kirsten," said Søren with a small smile.

Da: "Hvordan var din tur?
En: "How was your trip?

En: He was always in good spirits and ready for a good story.

Da: "Hej, Søren, Kirsten!
En: "Hi, Søren, Kirsten!

Da: Godt at se jer begge," sagde Emil muntert.
En: Good to see you both," Emil said cheerfully.

En: "Can you tell me about one of your trips?

En: I need some inspiration for my exhibition," he said quietly.

En: Kirsten nodded and began to talk about a trip to Berlin, where she visited historical museums and saw memorials to past times.

Da: Pludselig greb Emil ordet.

Da: Han havde stærke meninger om, hvordan historie påvirker nutiden.
En: He had strong opinions about how history affects the present.

En: As Søren listened, ideas spun around in his head.

Da: Han så mulighederne for at væve historiens tråde ind i sit kunstværk.
En: He saw the possibilities of weaving threads of history into his artwork.

En: "How can history speak through art?"

Da: tænkte han.
En: he thought.

En: The debate ended, and Søren felt a spark of energy.

Da: Han kunne nu se for sig, hvordan hans udstilling kunne tage form.
En: He could now envision how his exhibition could take shape.

En: "I want to bring historical perspectives into my paintings," he said, now filled with confidence.

Da: "Tak for jeres hjælp."
En: "Thank you for your help."

Da: Kirsten smilede varmt.
En: Kirsten smiled warmly.

Da: "Det bliver fantastisk, Søren.
En: "It will be fantastic, Søren.

Da: Du har så meget talent."
En: You have so much talent."

En: Emil nodded in agreement, still with stories on his lips.

En: "Yes, and maybe we can open the exhibition here at my place.

Da: Et lille arrangement for vores venner," foreslog han.
En: A small event for our friends," he suggested.

Da: Søren nikkede taknemmeligt.
En: Søren nodded gratefully.

Da: "Det ville være perfekt," sagde han.
En: "That would be perfect," he said.

Da: Solen gik langsomt ned over Nyhavn, og Søren følte, at denne dag havde givet ham noget værdifuldt.
