Story Transcript:

Ja: 冬の冷たい風が吹く上野動物園は、バレンタインデーに賑やかでした。
En: The fuyu cold wind blew through Ueno Zoo, making it bustling on Valentine's Day.

Ja: たくさんのカップルや家族連れが、動物たちを楽しんでいました。
En: Many couples and families were enjoying the animals.

Ja: 今回が初めてのデートの晴斗と藍子も、動物園に来ていました。
En: This was Haruto and Aiko's first date, and they too had come to the zoo.

Ja: 晴斗は、藍子を喜ばせようと緊張していました。
En: Haruto was nervous, trying to make Aiko happy.

Ja: 彼は地図を手にし、計画をしっかり考えていました。
En: He held a map in his hand and was carefully planning their visit.

Ja: 藍子は、動物が好きなので、楽しみにしていましたが、少し緊張していました。
En: Aiko, who liked animals, was looking forward to it, but felt a little nervous too.

Ja: まずは、ペンギンの餌やりを見に行きます。

Ja: しかし、晴斗は間違えて別の道に進んでしまいます。
En: However, Haruto ended up taking a wrong turn.

Ja: 「あ、始まるよ！」と藍子が嬉しそうに言いました。

Ja: 晴斗も、やっと計画がうまくいったと思い安心しました。
En: Haruto felt relieved, thinking that his plan was finally working out.

Ja: しかし、突然アナウンスが流れ、「次はボランティアの方に、ペンギンの餌やりを手伝っていただきます」と言いました。
En: However, suddenly an announcement was made, "Next, we'd like a volunteer to help with the penguin feeding."

Ja: なんと、晴斗は手を挙げてしまったのです。
En: Surprisingly, Haruto raised his hand.

Ja: それに気づいて、会場の視線が一斉に晴斗に集まりました。
En: Noticing this, the entire crowd turned their eyes to him.

Ja: 晴斗は驚いて「え、僕？」と言いました。
En: Haruto was surprised and said, "Huh, me?"

Ja: 藍子は笑いをこらえながら、「がんばって！」と声をかけました。
En: Aiko stifled her laughter and encouraged him, "Good luck!"

Ja: 晴斗は、ペンギンに餌をやることになりましたが、動きがぎこちなくて、見ていた人たちはみんな笑顔になりました。
En: Haruto ended up feeding the penguins, albeit awkwardly, which brought smiles to everyone's faces.

Ja: デモンストレーションが終わると、藍子は大笑いしました。
En: After the demonstration ended, Aiko burst out laughing.
