Da: Lars og Sofie var i Tivoli i København.
En: Lars and Sofie were in Tivoli in Copenhagen.

Da: De ville prøve en cykel, der kunne køres af to personer.
En: They wanted to try a bicycle that could be ridden by two people.

Da: Lars satte sig forrest, Sofie satte sig bagest.
En: Lars sat in the front, Sofie sat in the back.

Da: De trådte i pedalerne og begyndte at køre.
En: They stepped on the pedals and started driving.

Da: Men det var svært at styre cyklen.
En: But it was difficult to control the bike.

Da: Den vaklede fra side til side, og de skiftede konstant retning.
En: It wobbled from side to side and they were constantly changing direction.
