Da: Anders var i København på ferie.
En: Anders was in Copenhagen on holiday.

Da: Han havde hørt om en lækker dansk dessert kaldet "rødgrød med fløde", og han besluttede at prøve det.
En: He had heard of a delicious Danish dessert called "red porridge with cream" and he decided to try it.

Da: Anders gik ind på en café i hjertet af byen.
En: Anders went into a café in the heart of the city.

Da: Han sad sig ned ved et bord og bestilte en portion rødgrød med fløde.
En: He sat down at a table and ordered a portion of red porridge with cream.

Da: Da tjeneren satte desserten foran ham, blev Anders meget begejstret.
En: When the waiter put the dessert in front of him, Anders got very excited.

Da: Han tog sin ske og forsøgte at udtale ordet "rødgrød med fløde" korrekt.
En: He took his spoon and tried to pronounce the word "red porridge with cream" correctly.
