Da: Det var vinter i den lille psykiatriske afdeling, og sneen dalede stille ned udenfor.
En: It was winter in the small psychiatric ward, and the snow was gently falling outside.

Da: Indenfor var varmen beroligende, og stuen var pyntet med enkle juledekorationer og et beskedent juletræ.
