Da: Foråret var kommet, og solen kastede sine varme stråler over det lille feltlazaret, der lå nær en park.
En: Spring had arrived, and the sun cast its warm rays over the small feltlazaret that lay near a park.

Da: Blomsterne begyndte at springe ud, og duften af jord og nye begyndelser fyldte luften.
En: Flowers were beginning to bloom, and the scent of earth and new beginnings filled the air.

Da: I midten af denne travlhed arbejdede Emil.
En: In the middle of this bustle worked Emil.

Da: Han var en dedikeret sygeplejerske, altid rolig, men nu var tiden knap, og han så bekymret ud.
En: He was a dedicated nurse, always calm, but now time was short, and he looked worried.
