Story Transcript:

En: It was a cold winter morning in the busy hallways of the kollegie, where Freja and Magnus walked in deep conversation.

Da: Værelset var lille, men hyggeligt.
En: The room was small but cozy.

En: Rainbow-colored string lights swayed gently from the ceiling, and an old sofa stood by the window, covered with various cushions.

En: Posters from past parties and exotic trips hung on the walls.

Da: Freja tjekkede sin liste.
En: Freja checked her list.

En: "We need to plan a party," she said decisively.

En: But there was a small problem; they couldn't remember who the party was for.

En: "It must be someone's birthday," said Magnus, rummaging through a pile of papers on the table.

En: The closer they got to Valentine's Day, the busier it became.

En: But they had to be discreet.

En: If they failed, it could become a big embarrassing situation.

En: Freja didn't want to disappoint anyone, and Magnus just wanted everyone to have fun.

Da: "Skal vi spørge vores venner?"
En: "Should we ask our friends?"

En: suggested Magnus, looking up from his papers.

Da: Freja rystede på hovedet.
En: Freja shook her head.

En: "No, we can't reveal our plan," she replied.

En: "Maybe we can check social media."

En: They spent hours scrolling through Facebook, Instagram, and even Snapchat.

Da: Men uden held.
En: But without success.

En: Their group of friends was large, and apparently, no one had mentioned an upcoming birthday.

En: Magnus sighed and leaned back on the sofa.

En: "Maybe it's time to give up," he said tiredly.

En: But then, like an unexpected miracle, Magnus discovered something.

En: Between the sofa cushions, he found an old invitation card.

Da: "Freja, se her!"
En: "Freja, look here!"

Da: råbte han triumferende.
En: he shouted triumphantly.

En: On the crumpled card was a forgotten message, "You are invited to Marie's birthday!"

En: It was an invitation from last year.

Da: Freja sprang op i glæde.
En: Freja jumped up in joy.

Da: "Det er Marie!
En: "It's Marie!

Da: Vi planlægger for Marie!"
En: We're planning for Marie!"

En: With a sense of relief and new energy, they began the final preparations.

En: They decorated the room, baked a cake, and invited friends for a memorable evening.

En: When the guests arrived, and Marie walked in, she was met with a big "Surprise!"

En: From blushing red balloons to fun games, everything was perfect.

En: Her face lit up, and Freja could finally relax and enjoy the festivities.

Da: De havde gjort det.
En: They had done it.

Da: Freja lærte at omfavne lidt kaos, mens Magnus forstod, at lidt forberedelse kunne gavne.
En: Freja learned to embrace a little chaos, while Magnus understood that a little preparation could be beneficial.

En: In the blooming chaos and laughter in the small dorm room, the two friends found their own balance between order and spontaneity.
