It: Era una serata calda e soleggiata.
En: It was a warm, sunny evening.

It: Marco e Giuseppe stavano seduti in una pizzeria affollata a discutere su chi facesse la pizza migliore.
En: Marco and Giuseppe were sitting in a crowded pizzeria discussing who made the best pizza.

It: Marco era convinto che fosse lui, ma Giuseppe difendeva la sua pizza con fermezza.
En: Marco was convinced it was him, but Giuseppe defended his pizza firmly.

It: "La mia è la migliore!
En: "Mine is the best!

It: Non c'è paragone!
En: There is no comparison!"

It: ", diceva Giuseppe.
En: said Giuseppe.

It: "Sbagliato, la mia è la migliore!"
En: "Wrong, mine is the best!"

It: ribatteva Marco.

It: Dopo quella ghiotta cena, Marco, Giuseppe e Sofia si scambiarono numeri di telefono e promisero di tornare alla pizzeria ogni volta che possibile per cercare di creare nuove prelibatezze insieme.
En: After that delicious dinner, Marco, Giuseppe and Sofia exchanged telephone numbers and promised to return to the pizzeria whenever possible to try and create new delicacies together.

It: La loro amicizia era nata proprio da quella semplice discussione su chi facesse la pizza migliore, e adesso sapevano che la risposta non era importante, ciò che contava era la collaborazione e l'entusiasmo per la cucina.
