Ja: 東京の灯りはヒロシの顔に柔らかな影を落とした。
En: The lights of Tokyo cast a soft shadow on Hiroshi's face.

Ja: 彼はユイの住まいの前で端然と立ち、彼女の待つ家へ足を踏み入れようとした。
En: He stood in front of Yui's residence, hesitating before stepping into her awaited home.

Ja: ヒロシは、東京の都会に慣れきった男だ。
En: Hiroshi was a man accustomed to the city life of Tokyo.

Ja: しかし、ユイの家では一つの習慣に従うことを強要されていた―それは玄関で靴を脱ぐことだ。
En: However, at Yui's house, he was compelled to follow one custom - taking off his shoes at the entrance.

Ja: だが、今夜は違った。
En: But tonight was different.

En: She might have felt a moment of anger at the surprise on his face.

Ja: しかし、彼女は深呼吸をして静かにヒロシの目を見た。
En: However, after taking a deep breath, she calmly met Hiroshi's eyes.

Ja: 「ヒロシ、心配しないで。
En: "Hiroshi, don't worry.

Ja: 誰だってミスはするさ。
En: Everyone makes mistakes."
