Story Transcript:

It: Un caldo pomeriggio d'estate, Giovanni, Francesca e Marco si trovavano seduti a un tavolino di un caffè nella bellissima Piazza San Marco a Venezia.
En: One hot summer afternoon, Giovanni, Francesca and Marco were sitting at a table in a café in the beautiful Piazza San Marco in Venice.

It: Mentre sorseggiavano i loro caffè freddi, osservavano i turisti che passeggiavano e si godevano il meraviglioso scenario.
En: As they sipped their iced coffees, they watched the tourists stroll by and enjoyed the beautiful scenery.

It: All'improvviso, il loro sguardo fu attirato da un turista molto alto e imbranato, che si avvicinò a un ristorante italiano vicino.
En: Suddenly, their gaze was drawn to a very tall and awkward tourist, who approached a nearby Italian restaurant.

It: Il turista sembrava molto entusiasta nel tentare di gustare gli spaghetti, ma senza il corretto utensile.

It: Aveva un cucchiaio in mano, prontamente dello stesso colore dei suoi capelli.

It: esclamò Giovanni, ridendo.

It: Marco si unì alle risate dei suoi amici.

It: Il turista sembrava confuso e un po' frustrato, ma continuava a provare.
En: The tourist looked confused and a little frustrated, but kept trying.

It: Era determinato ad assaporare quel piatto.
En: He was determined to savor that dish.

It: "Giovanni, dobbiamo fare qualcosa!"
En: "John, we have to do something!"

It: disse Francesca, preoccupata.
En: Francesca said, worried.

It: "È evidente che non sta godendo i suoi spaghetti!"
En: "It's obvious he's not enjoying his spaghetti!"

It: Giovanni annuì e si alzò dal tavolo.
En: Giovanni nodded and got up from the table.

It: Si avvicinò al turista e gentilmente gli offrì una forchetta.
En: He approached the tourist and kindly offered him a fork.

It: "Scusate, signore, sembra che abbiate bisogno di una piccola assistenza.

It: Il turista accettò la forchetta con un sorriso di riconoscenza.
