Da: Nyhavn glitrede i skæret fra julelysene.
En: Nyhavn shimmered in the glow of the Christmas lights.

Da: Det var december, og duften af ristede mandler fyldte luften.
En: It was December, and the scent of roasted almonds filled the air.

Da: Astrid gik langs havnen.
En: Astrid walked along the harbor.

Da: Hun var flyttet til København for nylig og forsøgte at føle sig hjemme.
