He can spoil you with understanding, listening, honesty, loyalty, affection, communication, and he can spoil you with happiness.(7:11 完整英语的访谈|English Interview starts at 7:11)任何男人都可以用物质的东西宠你,但是对的人能做的更多。 Hello, you're listening to Fly With Lily and right beside me is Omar and we are going to try to go deep on dating questions, dating etiquette. Sounds good, Lily. Yes. Okay, so we have a couple of questions from our listeners. They really, really want to know if they are out with an American guy, who should pay? Well, society has gotten a lot more progressive as of late, and so I've heard a lot of stories about dates being split by both parties. However, I'm a bit traditional, and I know a lot of the people I hang out with and associate with are very traditional, and this goes for guys and girls. Generally speaking, I think the man should pay, at least for the first couple of dates. And then, I guess, as time moves on, then if they decide they want to start splitting things, that's up to them. But I'm a firm believer that, especially early on, the man should be the one who just picks up the check without question. Do you ever think about why? Well, I think that usually, I mean historically speaking, men have been the ones to generally ask the women out. And if the men are the ones asking them out and planning the date, well then they're kind of the ones that should be paying for the date. But like I said, times do change, but this is one where I feel pretty strongly that it should just be the man paying for things to start with.

Make me laugh, respect my choices, and be a gentleman, some of us don’t ask much. Is it okay to ask them to pay for dates? Well, you know, every culture is a little bit different, and even within Western cultures, people have very different opinions of that. Generally speaking, it's commonly accepted, at least in the United States where I live, that the man typically takes the lead on that and asks the woman out and therefore pays for the date. Now, there's an ever-growing trend with more and more women that want to contribute and pay for half the date, but I'm kind of an old-school person. I always, you know, unless they absolutely insist, and even then, I still pretty much prefer that I just pay for the date.

加入5月22日开营的第三期迷你退休营:https://flywithlily.com/discover 或加主播微信:iflywithlily 验证消息:报名)“In the end there doesn’t have to be anyone who understands you. There just has to be someone who wants to.” (19:46 完整英语的访谈|English Interview starts at 19:46)Hello everybody, you are listening to the Fly with Lily podcast here. And then right now beside me is Omar. Omar is visiting me in Taiwan and we just had a couple of days here. He is visiting here and enjoying food and traveling around Taiwan island. And we also talked about doing a podcast together. So we have come up with this idea of like bad first date question. How do we turn them into good first date question? Because I have a lot of students, they want to date foreigners, but they don't know how to. Usually they don't know what to ask. Or the questions I heard were pretty ridiculous. So I would like to help my audience on that. So Omar, say hi to our audience. Hello everyone, glad to be here with you and with Lily. Yay! So, let's get started. Alright. Okay, the first one is, usually this is pretty common, women (are) attracted to success. So they want to know, like, how much is your salary? Yeah, so at least in Western culture, that's not really an appropriate question to ask. It's just very personal, and a lot of people may find offense to that. But it still is an important thing to know. But there's a lot of other subtle ways that you can ask that where you'll still get the answer you need, but you won't really offend someone. So a way that you can ask is are, what are your career goals? Or where do you see your career in the next five years? And based on those answers, you can probably ascertain about where that person's career is headed and what kind of lifestyle they live. ***比起“How much is your salary?”更好的问题是“what are your career goals? Or where do you see your career in the next five years?”4. are attracted to 被… Okay, so can we do an example? Yes, so for example, yeah, so like if you're on a date and someone says, well, you know, I don't really have any career goals, I'm just happy working as a janitor cleaning toilets. There's no disrespect in that position, but you kind of get an idea of like where they might be at, versus if you ask the same question someone says oh, I'm the Vice President of a bank and then in the next five years I want to be the CEO of the bank You can tell they're definitely on a different career path than the previous example. So, you know like I said, the most important thing with dating someone is you know that you get along personally and you enjoy that person not so much the career, but it's also sometimes good to know. Vice President 副总裁13. get along 与... For sure. But, when can I really know their salary? Well, I think that, at least in Western culture, that usually comes up after you get to know each other pretty well and are maybe considering moving in together or renting an apartment together or even buying a house together. Once you get to a point to where you might be making a large purchase together, then that kind of b

So I think you're gonna have a lot of, once that planet moves out of your money making house, you're gonna have a lot more money. Money making opportunities. And then Pluto. So Pluto is a planet that changes signs every 20 years. So it's been in Capricorn for 20 years and it's moving into Aquarius. And Pluto is the planet of power, of intensity, of transformation, of just anything that's very deep and transformative and death and rebirth. And it's moving into Aquarius, which rules your money house. So I'm very interested to see how that plays out for you because I think that you could gain a lot of power and make crazy amounts of money. I don't know, there could be a lot of opportunities. Your whole relationship with money is gonna transform the way you think about it, how you earn it. There's a lot of potential for you. It's gonna get a lot better. Cuz I feel like it might have been just not fun and more of a struggle in the past since the pandemicish when Saturn moved into Aquarius. Cuz that's your money house. I feel like money has not been flowing. You want it. So yeah, pay attention to that cuz that could really change. Lily: Exactly! What I actually feel that because I've just registered this business in Europe and then I used to have all my money in China and then now they change policy and then China's becoming really difficult. And then yeah, you are right. My money wasn't flowing. But I do feel like ever since I registered this business and I'm thinking about expanding my morning club, my coaching business, and I have this new product I'm going to launch soon. So I'm just really, really excited and I feel like there's so many different opportunities. And now I'm doing this new podcast series, introducing my friends and then talking about really positive stuff. Bella: That’s really exciting. Oh my god, I see that. Yeah. So by March things are gonna start flowing a lot better. And then by May you're gonna have chance for love and romance. But it's like, it's not just a short transit. I cannot remember how many months Jupiter's gonna be there, but it's gonna be there for at least the rest of the year. It's a long, maybe even longer. This is the most benefit planet in one of the best houses, which represents fun, romance, children, creativity, all those things. So you're gonna get a boost in that area of life. So what better area to get a boost in than the house of love, romance, and creativity. So you're gonna be feeling really, really good. That's a really good transit to have. And Saturn will be moving into your third house, which will make you really focused on becoming a better speaker, a better writer, a better presenter. But, and you're gonna be putting in a lot of effort and hard work into that area of your life too. Lily: Wow. These three career that you just mentioned, they are my goals in life actually. Bella: Amazing. Yeah, you're gonna be su

Bella: That sounds like it makes sense. See what's going on currently with the planets. Oh, there'll be plenty of opportunities for love for you. Plenty. But they might not come right away, to be honest. You might have to wait a little bit. Let's see, you might have to wait a little bit. I think now you're really focused on, so when Capricorn season starts, you are gonna be shining. You're gonna be the best version of yourself. You're gonna be glowing because all the planets are moving into your first house of self. You're gonna have Venus there. So you're gonna look more beautiful. You're gonna be more radiant than ever. People are gonna be drawn to you. So this could be a good time for flirtation, for putting yourself out there for having fun. People will be very drawn to you and magnetized to you. So it could be a good thing. But I would say that now you are gonna be focused on your business, very much so. You may have had… you may have felt like money wasn't flowing as easily as maybe you would want it to, or maybe as easily as it was in a pastime that's gonna change next year because you had something blocking your money house, which was kind of frustrating for you. So maybe you weren't getting cash flow as easily. But once this Saturn leaves your house of wealth, you're gonna start to see more abundance in your life, more success. You're gonna also wanna be thinking about putting down roots somewhere. Do you think that you're gonna keep traveling for a while? Yeah. Oh, I have listed all the countries that I want to travel next year already. Bella: Really? Oh, what are they? Lily: Five, six countries in Asia. So I'm leaving Guatemala before Christmas. So I'm going back to Iceland for a couple days, hanging out with my friends, celebrating Christmas. And then I will go to Japan. And from Japan, three months in Japan, probably one or two months in Korea. I want to move down to Vietnam, probably Thailand a little bit. I heard it's a great place for digital nomads. And then mm-hmm , go to Indonesia, maybe visit the Philippines, maybe go to India. Bella: Well maybe I'll join you in one of these places. That sounds amazing. Oh wait, I just saw something. Okay. In May of next year. Can you wait that long? Yes. You have Jupiter moving into your fifth house of love and romance and Jupiter. Woohoo. Yes. Jupiter is the planet of expansion, of luck, abundance. You're gonna feel very flirty. You're gonna wanna have a lot of fun. This is the perfect time to go out to date. That's the best time for love when Jupiter's in the fifth house. So that's gonna happen around May. "When you know yourself you are empowered. When you accept yourself you are invincible.” Lily’s birth ChartLily: so you have something for me, right? Bella: I do. I actually pulled up your birth chart. Yay. Because I wanted to know more about you now, what a birth chart is. It is a map of the stars and the planets on in the moment that you took your first breath on this planet on earth. So it's showing where the planets were exactly in that moment with the time, the date, the location, everything. And this birth chart can tell you a lot about who you are as a person. And as you know, you are a Sagittarius Sun. You were born during Sagittarius season when the sun was in that sign. But what's really interesting about it is we have three zodiac signs that really define who we are, which are called our big three, which is the sun, the moon, and the rising. So the moon, where the moon was on that particular day also gives you insight on who you are as a person. Now your moon was in Capricorn on the day you were born, and based on the time you were born, your rising sign is also Capricorn. So have you ever felt like you were not a full Sagittarius? Lily: Yes, exactly. I know I have a lot of Capricorns in my life. Bella: You have a lot of planets in Capricorn, which is great because that's Capricorn is an earth sign. And that makes you super grounded, super practical, super ambitious. Someone who's going to go after the thing that they want. Ok. So you have an advantage, , you have an advantage. And it's interesting though, because Sagittarius is one of the most optimistic signs. But Capricorn on the other hand is more of a pessimist, . So you could go both ways, , but that's good because it's like you're not too overly positive and optimistic. Your Capricorn energy comes in and puts things in check. So you're very grounded. Capricorn is a self-starter. They're all about starting new things, new ideas, projects, putting things into action. So it's very interesting how your Sagittarius sun with a Capricorn rising and moon and your rising sign is also how you look. And the thing about Capricorn risings, they get hotter and hotter as they age. They look better and better. , I actually made a video about that, about Capricorn Risings, they’re the ones who are gonna be flirting by the time they're gonna reach their prime when they're in their eighties , they're gonna be flirting with everyone at the你有很多的行星落在摩羯座,这很好,因为摩羯座是土象星座。 Lily: Well. That’s what I’ve been telling my friends, I often think if I was a man, I would probably win over so many ladies. I would be like ladies boy, ladies is a ladies boy. ladies man. I would be ladies man. Yeah, just like I, I'm such a flirt, but as a woman I'm kind of more reserved. But I also see that I am more flirtatious when I get older now. I'm more confident. More confident. Yeah. Bella: Well the thing about Capricorns is they're not very confident when they're young, but they develop their confidence through their accomplishments throughout life. So the more that they develop and mature and accomplish things, the better they feel about themselves. So that confidence definitely shows as they mature. So it's a re

Well as you know, I have many dreams and many passions, , but astrology has always been something that fascinated me. But it felt, it never felt within reach. I always felt I needed to find someone, an astrologer to give me the answers. And it was really frustrating cuz I had gone to a few different astrologers and they all kind of had their own opinions, but conflicting views. And I'm like, why is this so difficult to just find answers? And I remember one day was, it was during 2020, I had always known about astrology, but I didn't study it deeply until the pandemic. There was some great conjunction of two planets coming together and I knew nothing about it. But all of a sudden I was so excited about these planets coming together. I was telling everyone, I was like, these planets are gonna align and da da da. And I got so passionate and people were like, well, what does it mean? I was like, well, I'm not really sure, but I'm so excited that the planets are coming together. And then I stopped for a second and I'm like, wait a minute. Where is this excitement coming from? Where is this enthusiasm coming from? There has to be something to this. So I'm like, well, why don't I just become my own astrologer? Why don't I start studying and figure out what all these planetary alignments mean? Cuz there's obviously something in me that it's sparking this fire in me that I should follow. And I always knew that you should just follow the things that bring you joy, that bring you excitement. And that's exactly what I did. And I never knew it was gonna lead to what it has led to for me. So I'm really happy that I went after that. I explored that enthusiasm. I was like, where is this coming from? So that's how I got into astrology. But also just through dating and real feeling out, there's certain signs that I just connect with and it's always the same signs. And then there's certain signs that I just feel were on a different dimension or plane and it’s always the same sign. I'm like, there has to be something to this too. Why is it that I only get along with certain signs? It just opened up this Pandora's box. And then I learned so much more about myself, more about others. Now I feel more understanding and compassionate towards people because of astrology. And a lot of people, they don't believe in it or whatever. But once you get really deep and you start looking into the history of it and see how so many different crazy historical events happened while these planets were aligned, you start to notice patterns and then you learn about yourself and you're like, wow, this explains so much. Now I know myself

I don’t believe in astrology; I’m a Sagittarius and we’re skeptical. (3.45)Lily: Exactly. Exactly. But you know what before Guatemala, I was actually in Iceland. Iceland is the first world and it’s clean have everything. And then I was there doing volunteer work, but I was treated really nicely. I had my own room and people give food, three meals a day, even taking me out for dinner. And I was spoiled. And then since I got to Guatemala, I just have different challenges after the honeymoon you say the honeymoon period or honeymoon phase past. And in November I had so many difficult stuff that happened. First it’s, I was really glad that I made the move. I registered my company in Europe finally. But then two days later I found out that I lost 70,000 subscribers. Oh my God. It's a news newsletter that I was developing was doing, was making newsletters almost every week. And I lost, now lost it all, lost 70,000 subscribers. And now I'm just a little bit worried how I'm going to survive with my new company. I was depending on that list, but since I'm working with other company, so I don't have that list anymore. And then I was just a little bit desperate. And then the school that I was studying with they changed my teacher. So I was angry with the school. And then I was angry with my teacher. My teacher didn't come to class and then was standing me up. She said she would come, but she never did. And then I had some problem with the family, so I had to move out, really in quickly. So I moved out. So I'm find a new place, but which is 15 minutes away from the center. So of course I'm very appreciative of this place, Guatemala. But I was in a really weird mood. I was just like, oh, everything is just on top of me. And then on top of that, I broke up with my boyfriend in Iceland. He probably didn't think that I was his girlfriend, but I was always thinking that he's the boy that I really like. I would rather call him my boyfriend. But then just he ghosted me like three weeks. And then finally one day I got this text, he said that, oh, he was never meant to be serious with me. And then he had a good time and blah blah blah. So that was it. Yeah, I got really hurt. Another time to be broken up on the text was pretty horrible. But when I started to feel that he was ghosting me, I was watching your video. I remember that date. It was a November 25th , actually the November 24th. I feel like something is not right. But I actually got off the phone with him and then we had a really good chat on 21st, but it's really weird. 24th, I had this feeling that I don't know, something is probably not right. And then on the 25th I saw your video and I was just like, oh, you see this energy? Can you just kinda brushing up for us? Bella: Yeah. Oh, okay. Oh, okay, so there was a new moon. Lily: Yeah. You said that someone who is leaving at this time is never meant to be the person. Bella: Exactly, exactly. Because we had just gone through eclipse season and in astrology, eclipses are the most powerful astrological

Remember, perspective can cause two people to look at the same thing and see two totally different things. (英语访谈8:13开始)How was the Guatemala trip?Lily: Yeah. So I also just mentioned, you also mentioned that you were quite sick, almost like most of your trip in Guatemala. So how was the trip Guatemala for you now you are back home for almost a month now, right? Bella: Yeah, I've been back for a while. I wanted to go to Guatemala cause I went there in college for a study abroad and it changed my life. It was such a positive experience. But this time I went by myself first time traveling alone. I've traveled alone but on retreats to meet up with groups. But I was solo the whole time. First day I got there I got sick food poisoning or I might have accidentally had tap water. Who knows, maybe the ice throwing up. Lily: It is the welcome of Guatemala, everybody has to be sick. I had a goodbye gift the first time I was here. I had a goodbye gift, which I was having food poisoning on the last day. Bella: Oh my God. Apparently a nasty one. Oh no, you've been there before. Lily: I was in Guatemala six, six years ago. Bella: Oh my God, how interesting. And I went 10 years ago. It's funny how it brings people back. Lily: Yeah, definitely. Bella: It’s also Lake Atitlan where we were is also known to be a vortex if you've heard. Lily: And you told me that. Yeah, I like that idea. Bella: Well I felt like it is because the energy felt very intense. I was feeling everything at a higher level, more strongly, more intensely. And I think that that's part of me getting sick. I think I was releasing something. I needed to purge some energy that was trapped in me because despite getting sick and having such a hard time, I did feel like a new person after the trip. Lily: Amazing. You did the perfect advertising there. Bella: . Yeah, sometimes we need to learn lessons hard in harder ways. Sometimes they're more valuable that way when we learn them through going through something because I feel much stronger after having that experience because I feel like I can survive anything now. Because being alone in a place where there's not a lot of people, there aren't many stores. I was on a very small, small village away from Lily: Santa Cruz. Bella: Santa Cruz, yes. And there were no markets. Everything closed at five. There was no one at my Airbnb. It was the off season. So there weren't a lot of travelers and I was dying. It happened three times I got sick and finally I just said, I'm gonna go home. But I do, I felt like I survived some epic challenge or I just went through Survivor being on that show. Lily: . Wow, nice. So how's the life back since you got back to Los Angeles? You said that it was a lot of energy here, but is it changed since you got back? Bella: Well, something interesting happened and it's the same thing that happened the last time I visited Guatemala. I came back with this new appreciation for life and for all of the amenities and conveniences that we have in a city like Los Angeles that you often take for granted. Because when you go off to a small villag
