Today Jordan is joined by her dear friend & incredible doula — the amazing Patti Quintero. Patti is known in LA as the absolute go-to for all things birth and motherhood. She is loved my mamas, yogis, celebs, and beyond. When it came time for Jordan to find a doula to support her pregnancy & birth journey, it was a no brainer to choose Patti.
In this episode the women discuss everything from Jordan’s birth (they get into the nitty gritty — things even Jordan & Jonathan did not yet share!), how Patti became a doula, what a doula even is, the differences between a doula & a midwife, why someone may want to have a doula with them in a hospital birth, home birth vs. hospital birth, and so much more.
Patti is also the founder of UMA mother. It is the culmination of her many years of working with mothers as a teacher, mentor, community leader and birth doula. The focus of UMA offerings is to elevate consciousness and help others live in a more authentic and awakened state. Patti is also a trained Vedic meditation teacher (she recently spent over 100 days in Sedona doing a deep dive training), and her wisdom radiates far and wide.
