He: השמש זרחה מעל ירושלים, והשוק במרכול מחנה יהודה היה מלא חיים וצלילים.
En: The sun rose over Jerusalem, and the Mahane Yehuda market was full of life and sounds.

He: יוסי, תמר ואבי התהלכו בין הדוכנים הצבעוניים.
En: Yossi, Tamar, and Avi walked among the colorful stalls.

He: הם חיפשו ירקות טריים ותבלינים לארוחת ערב משפחתית גדולה.
En: They were looking for fresh vegetables and spices for a big family dinner.

He: "פה יש לנו עגבניות יפות," אמר יוסי כשהוא עצר ליד אחד הדוכנים.
En: "Here we have beautiful tomatoes," Yossi said as he stopped by one of the stalls.

He: "אבל אולי נמשיך קצת עוד ונראה מה יש בחנות הבאה?
En: "But maybe we should go a bit further and see what's in the next shop?"

He: "תמר חייכה.
En: Tamar smiled.

He: "כן, חשוב שנבחר את הכי טובים.
En: "Yes, it's important to choose the best ones."

He: "אבי, הילד הקטן, רץ קדימה.
En: Avi, the little boy, ran ahead.

He: הוא היה נרגש לראות הכל מסביב.
En: He was excited to see everything around him.

He: "אמא, תראי תבלינים!
En: "Mom, look at the spices!"

He: " הוא הצביע על חנות קטנה מלאה בצנצנות צבעוניות וריחות נפלאים.
En: he pointed to a small shop filled with colorful jars and wonderful aromas.

He: "ניקח פלפלים חריפים?
En: "Shall we take some hot peppers?"

He: " שאל יוסי בחיוך שובב.
En: Yossi asked with a mischievous smile.

He: "לא!
En: "No!

He: הן ילדות אוהבות חריף," צחקה תמר.
En: The girls don't like spicy," Tamar laughed.

He: "ניקח כמון ולאחר מכן עוף צלוי.
En: "Let's take cumin and then roast chicken."

He: "הם המשיכו לטייל בשוק, בודקים כל ירק ותבלין בעיון רב.
En: They continued to walk through the market, carefully inspecting each vegetable and spice.

He: מעבר לפינה, הם ראו חבר ותיק, דודם ראובן.
En: Around the corner, they saw an old friend, their uncle Reuven.

He: "שלום ראובן!
En: "Hello Reuven!"

He: " אמר אבי בהתרגשות.
En: Avi said excitedly.

He: "שלום לכולם!
En: "Hello everyone!"

He: " השיב ראובן בעודם מתחבקים.
En: Reuven replied as they hugged.

He: "מה אתם עושים כאן?
En: "What are you doing here?"

He: ""אנחנו מחפשים מרכיבים לארוחת ערב משפחתית," הסבירה תמר.
En: "We're looking for ingredients for a family dinner," Tamar explained.

He: ראובן חייך.
En: Reuven smiled.

He: "מאוד טוב.
En: "Very good.

He: יש כאן דוכן שאבא שלו היה קונה ממנו כשהייתי ילד.
En: There's a stall here that my father used to buy from when I was a kid.

He: בואו אלך להראות לכם.
En: Come, I'll show you."

He: "הם הלכו אחרי ראובן והגיעו לדוכן עם מבחר עשיר של ירקות.
En: They followed Reuven and arrived at a stall with a rich selection of vegetables.

He: "זה מושלם!
En: "This is perfect!"

He: " אמר יוסי, "בואו ניקנה ונחזור הביתה להתחיל לבשל.
En: said Yossi, "Let's buy and go home to start cooking."

He: "הם חזרו הביתה עם סלסלות מלאות בירקות ותבלינים.
En: They returned home with baskets full of vegetables and spices.

He: במטבח, הם התחילו לבשל ביחד.
En: In the kitchen, they began to cook together.

He: תמר קילפה את הירקות, ואבי עזר להוסיף את התבלינים.
En: Tamar peeled the vegetables, and Avi helped her add the spices.

He: יוסי טיפל בעוף הצלוי.
En: Yossi handled the roast chicken.

He: בארוחת הערב, המשפחה ישבה סביב השולחן, טועמת את המנות המיוחדות שהכינו.
En: At dinner, the family sat around the table, tasting the special dishes they had prepared.

He: "זה פשוט טעים," אמר אבא של יוסי, "אני גאה בכם.
En: "This is simply delicious," said Yossi's father, "I'm proud of you."
