He: העיר הייתה ערה במיוחד בבוקר הראשון של השנה החדשה.
En: The city was particularly lively on the first morning of the new year.

He: באריאל, נער בן עשר, היה חופש מעורב עם חשש.
En: Ariel, a ten-year-old boy, felt a mix of freedom and apprehension.

He: הוא עמד על מפתן הכניסה לבית הספר החדש שלו, גופו רעד מעט, אך עיניו בחנו בתשומת לב את המקום.
En: He stood at the threshold of his new school, his body trembling slightly, but his eyes attentively scanned the place.
